Yes they been calling me.  Asking for Jessie.  I tell them there is no one with that name in this house hold.  
It is like they do not trust me.  Why should I trust them to take my number off of there computer.

got a call from this number and the lady was really nice.. i asked who they were looking for and they said the person that owned this phone before and i told them that she is no longer at this number and that they are going to take it off the list. hopefully they will stop calling.

Collection Company! They called me about an xcel energy bill on a property i sold over 10 years ago. Even if you explain the situation and they completely agree with you, you must send them a dispute letter and request to cease calling you or they will continue to call.. it's automated and they don't even know who they are calling until you pick up. Answer and take care of business.

Received a call around 6:54 pm, I don;t answer calls from 888 numbers, so I let it go to voicemail. They left a messege but it was for a Dawn, which is not me and not even close to my name.

they have called me about an old electric bill from 2003....what the heck is the statute of limitations on old utilility bills anyway? Im not sending a check out in space to anyone!

I have been receiving calls from this number. Sometimes they leave a message, sometimes not. I let the call roll to voicemail.

I have another person's phone number and apparently she has every collection agency west of the Mississippi calling her ...

Starting about a week ago, I keep getting calls from various collection agencies. I never answer these calls, so I have no idea what they want, but I do know I own no money to anyone. I got 2 calls today from these people.

I used to work for Xcel Energy and YES, this company is ACTION AFFILIATE and they are a 3rd party company that calls on behalf of Xcel Energy for any account that is even a day late on payment of a bill.  They do hard collections as well, but an account with Xcel Energy doesn't need to be closed or in huge default -- just late -- to merit a call from this company.  They suck.  Xcel sucks.  This is why I don't work there anymore.  As a call rep there for only a few months, needless to say it was not enjoyable to get phone calls from customers who called stating (bitching, quite loudly, actually) they received a phone call from me when I didn't know what the "eff" they were talking about.  LOL

No Message the ID says Action Afiliate Affiliate is misspelled, sure that is Ma Bell but get the call every two or three days.

This collection agency buys contracts from many firms and does their best to collect on them. You dont owe money to this collection agency. Just do as I did and report them to FCC and send them a letter demanding that they stop calling you all together. If they keep calling you after that then you take them to court and sue them for more than they even attempted collecting from you. Threats and harrasing is part of the law suit..Seek legal representation if this continues

"This is blah blah from so and so trying to collect a bill for 2000 dollars from the STATE OF LOUISIANA"...

Since when did the state of la need debt collectors?!

These people will soon be contacted by the Attorney Generals office. They are using illegal tactics to try and collect debts...

I just got a call from this number.  My bf was on the phone with his parents (long distance) and put THEM on hold to take this call.  It was just hold music.  We waited for a few minutes for someone to answer, no one did.  Im up to date on all of my bills, so theres no reason for a legitimate creditor to be calling me.
Fortunately my cell phone has a feature where i can save it to my address book, then assign it a ringtone of MUTE.  I win.

This phone number called me. It's a collection agency for Fingerhut. I don't even have an account with them very annoying.

This is the "Affiliate Group" I keep getting calls from this number. Asking for someone who is not me. When I tell them I do not know them they continue to call. Finally today I called them - they appeared nice and I mentioned that I was going to file a complaint if they do not stop.

These are really rude people from affiliated credit services.  Don't call them back unless you have the money they want cuz they are real a**holes.  They will keep calling over and over until you pay up.

This number called my cell today, no message. I have never even heard of Excel Energy, nor do I have anything else that could be in collections. I guess it's a wrong number, but I really do hate when these companies call and don't leave a message. Very frustrating!
