Received a charge of $69.87 on my Cap One Card.Never made any such purchase or authorization to apply this charge to my account.When the number is called that is listed on the cc statement,866 737 4895 always get a recording stating to call back during bus hrs.

I too had this charge on my credit card - actually had it twice...one in Sept and once in Dec.  Totally is a SCAM.  I did get my money back!

I didn't notice because this is a credit card we only uses for emergencies and rarely check the balance.  My husband called at first to see what the charges were for and was told this was purchased by his wife and she couldn't give any information out.  She told him to ask his wife what the purchase was for.

I then proceeded to call when I got home.  When the individual answered it was in broken English (I think it was Shaney) and I could not understand what the company was called.  I inquired what the name of the company was and was told it was customer service.  I asked customer service for which company?  She said this was really a third party administrator and could not give out the name of the company Seriously she said this!  I then inquired about the two charges and asked what it was for.  She said I purchased something online.  Perhaps a subscription?  I said no because this card is rarely used and it's for emergencies.  She stated I received an email in September regarding the charges.  I said I did not receive any such email.  She asked if I ever received a product in the mail for the charges.  By this point I'm getting rather frustrated and demanded to know the name of the company and what exactly was I charged for!  She again asked if I received any product in the mail.  I said no, she then said she could give me a credit then for the charges.  Just like that she could offer a credit!  Totally a scam!  She gave me two confirmation numbers and said it would take 5-7 business days.  I did receive the two credits.  Needless to say I will be watching all my accounts now!

I got someone from that company on the phone and she said it was some sort of warranty related to an online purchase I made and it was a recurring charge.  I told her that I did not make any online purchases.  She said the money will be credited back and even gave me a confirmation # and told me I should see the credit in 5 days.  It's about 3 weeks now and I have not seen any credit.  I disputed the charge w/ my credit card and they gave me a temporary credit pending the investigation w/ the merchant.  My credit card statement categorized it as a real estate/broker company.  No idea what this is but it is definitely a scam.  If I get a recurring charge on my credit card, I will cancel it and get another card.  So even though you get a representative stating they will issue you a credit, don't believe them.

I know it says DOL on the charge, but I never did go to a dollar store....  I got my money back, $69.87 from my bank, after I filed a dispute with them...  I had to get a new debit card, to make sure this did not happen again.

Never ceases to amaze me that the banks continue to do business with scammers.  Don't forget that the banks collect a percentage of the amount, so they have no real incentive to stop. As long as no one complains, the bank are happy to steal money from people.

I called the number at night, and got an answering machine to call back during normal business hours.  I found out about it at 2am, when I check my balance on my bank card.  Didn't get any sleep, that night...  I work late too!  So, going to the bank in the morning was an inconvenience, as I am normally, fast asleep during that time of day!  After I had signed the paperwork, disputing the charge, and gotten home.  I called the number and found out the lady did not know anything, other than she answers the phone for several companies.  She asked me, if I had ordered anything on the internet.  I told her no, and that she must be working for a scam company.  I told her, that their are many complaints on the net, and all.  I wished her a good day, and she did the same...  Next day, my money was back...

I got my money back from my bank, who cancelled my debit card, and reissued me a new one!  This was a complete fraud, and when I called the number I told them, they should be ashamed, and they are criminals..  And, that the same charge is all over the net too!  She asked me if I had ordered something from the internet, which I said to her.  "No, I did not!"  The lady on the phone, said they handle a lot of companies, and could not name one of them!

I AS WELL JUST DELT WITH THIS CHARGE FOR 69.87.  I CALLED THEM 3 TIMES AND GOT THE SAME INFO I EVEN WENT AS FAR AS TO ASK THEM WHO THEY WORK FOR AND WHAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY IS.  THEY NEVER SAY WHEN THEY ANSWER.  WHEN THE LADY WAS DID NOT ANSWER RIGHT AWAY I ASKED HER WHO SHE GETS HER PAY CHECK FROM EACH PAY PERIOD.  ALL I GOT WAS THIRD PARTY CUSTOMER SERVICE.  I MADE IT CLEAR TO HER THAT I HAVE FILED A CLAIM WITH THE BANK AND CANCELED MY CARD SO THAT IS ALL TAKEN CARE OF.  I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE ELSE DOES THE SAME.  
SHE ALSO TOLD ME ALL THEY HAD WAS MY NAME , LAST 4 DIGITS ON MY CARD AND DATE AND AMOUNT OF PURCHASE?  IT ALL SOUNDS WAY TO FISHY TO ME TO.  
I DID ALSO ASK AND TOLD HER I HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO ALL 200 OF THE COMPANY'S THEY SUPPOSABLE  REPRESENT.  SHE DID MENTION A FEW BUT THEN SAID SHE DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A FULL LIST HERSELF  PHH-LEASE.

I called this number as well, after finding a charge of $69.87.  The lady told me she was basically an answering service for multiple companies, and asked me, if I had purchased anything on line....  Weird!  I contacted my bank, and went down to sign a paper, disputing this charge...  Will see what happens..

As far as I know, I never received a call.  Chase sent me an alert in the mail, and when I called Chsse, they onformed me of the same info. as everybody else on this site.  Chase gave me the name of DOL along with the phone number and the charge of $69.87.  When I called the number  I received the same message as everybody else.  "Please call back during regular business hours."  Had to close account and get a new card.

We got a fraud alert call from Chase, and there was a charge from dol 888-635-8548 for $69.87 on our credit card. The charge was done by phone in Wilmington, DE. We live in South Florida. The fraud alert department said the charge was for a personal service. We had to close our account.

I,too, was charged $69.87 for something I don't even know!! Never made this purchase!  Not happy with a company taking unauthorized money from my personal checking account!!!!

I too have been charged $69.87 from Merchant Services Club for a "recurring" debit card payment.  I bank with Wells Fargo. After calling the "club" and getting the no one's home please call back during business hours message, I called my bank and put a stop on the charge. WF is refunding the amount and will pursue fraud charges - They asked me if I would prosecute if they identified the person/company and I said ABSOLUTELY YES.  On the same day I also got hit with a $2.50 charge from GTSTsupport.com - a company that processes on-line memberships. WF is also refunding and going after them. I cancelled my card and am thinking about going back to the good old days of writing checks only.

its not only B Of A .. they did this to me too.. and it's my orchard bank credit card.. i had to cancel my credit card so they can issue me a new one.. i go to Dollar store but i don't use my credit card only my debit card.. this is BS that these ppl are ripping us off like this

Close the account and open one with a different bank.  Get confirmation in writing that the account is closed.  Also, keep checking back with Chase to make sure it doesn't get reopened.  I've closed 3 different bank accounts that got reopened accidently.

me too! I just called Chase. They actually used my old debit card which should have been closed almost 2 years ago!! I pissed at Chase. They should be aware of this and stop the charges from reoccuring into peoples accounts.

We seen this charge hit our Chase account today.  I immediately entered the phone number and found this site. Our charge was for 69.87 like many others.  I called the number and in broken English the lady told me they did billing for several companies. She claimed she could not tell what the charge was for and started rattling off and asking me if we had purchased facial products etc.  I told her I wanted an immediate refund and she said we would receive a refund in 5-7 days.  Near the end she asked if there was someone other on the account and I told her my wife's name which she found in their system with an old email address. My wife called Chase and canceled her debit card and they will reissue another one. The new card will be linked to the old for refund purposes but no new charges from this outfit.

I got a charge for $69.87 on my credit card with the phone number 888-635-8548 and ANGDOL listed...did not recognize the charge so I called the number, got a ladies voice just saying a representative would be with me shortly.  I waited a little bit, no answer so I googled that phone number and wound up here to the forum!  As soon as I saw that other people had been charged the same dollar amount I knew something was up so called my credit card company and they are closing that credit card out and issuing me a new one!  This is crazy that someone can do something like this!!

Just looked at my Chase account and I as well was charged the $ 69.87. I called the 888 number and the guy claimed they debited the card back. To be sure I called Chase, she did a google search on the 888 number and found all of these negative post. So Chase has now refunded the $69.87. Thank you Chase

I just got called from BofA fraud group, asking about a $69.87 charge to this number. The lady in the fraud group called vthe number and only got a answering system that lead noplace. I am interested to know if this is only B of A people who are getting hit with this fraud.

The company is a credit card merchant service group in WI. They should have been shut down already. Our FBI is lazy.

FYI: Dollar Store is where I used my card last night. This morning at 2:25 a.m. Pacific Time, the $69.87 charge was made on my card that I had used last night.
How many others on this list had gone to a Dollar Store? I think the store employee hacked it.
This was not a call, but when i called the number on my B of A online account when the charge came in today, it was the same number: 888-635-8548. The girl said it was 3rd party and had no info as the to company that charged the amount. My bank fraud dept said the card number had been typed in, not swiped, though, my money was swiped! Had to cancel my card.

I just called this company and the will not disclosure the company information. I will file a fraud case with my local police department and the credit card company.

I received a posting on my account for 69.87 and they claimed third party as well. I immediately told them I didn't do it and will dispute it and he immediately said they would issue a refund which would take 7 days. I will wait to see the credit and if not will definitely look further into as this is definitely fraud. I took keep track down to the penny so nothing will slip by me.

Ditto on all of that.... However they must have a new amount they are using. I was charged 67.74, i called the. 888 number and was told it was a 3rd paty billing company but they had no name. I asked for a list companies they work with and they could not provide the information.  They wanted me to give th em more of my info & they would issue a credit.  I tried calling this weekend to see if the anwsering machine would provide a company name & got a woman's voice.... Something like call back during business hours but does not say what the hours are... Long story short....this is B.S. !!!! My bank is working on it and I'm not calling them anymore!! I had a charge on my debit card which only stated DOL, the 888phone # and Wilmington DE. I finally reached a person who stated they are a 3rd party biller for several companies. I keep track of my checking to the penny and know that this was a charge I did not incur. Very frustrating! However I was told that the charge would be refunded. We'll see....
