Called twice in an hour. Silence on the other end.

This call is from the NDP party for the upcoming BC Elections.  I'd never vote NDP anyways and these annoying calls just sealed the deal on that.

rec'd call from 1 888 637 0073 since April 12 on various hours of the day and night. Never left message to let me know what was it in regards. Assumed it's for telemarketing, never call back, search on the phone number via google search and found this. please stop this non sense caller.

Got a call. Silence

Sorry....the number is 888-637-0073! And when I called back, I was told that the voice mail box was full and was forwarded to the switchboard, one for English, two for French (push one) and the voice mail box was full.... this is just continued in a loop.

Insists that he speak with my husband to update contact information, claiming to be with the branch of government that employs my husband. When I asked if I could take a message, it was a fast and harsh NO. When I commented that they were calling on a Sunday, the reply was "Yes, on a Sunday."  The first phone call claimed they couldn't call in the morning because they were back east (in Ontario) but why would this be true if he was calling for the provincial government?

Answered phone and heard a couple of soft whimpers.  No answer from the other end despite repeated hello's.
