This CRIMINAL SPAMMER wants to order large quantities of equipment.

The bogus email is supposedly from:

When I called 888-666-0819, an automated answering machine says to press 1 for "Charles Lumpkin."

Checked out "Edwards Incorporated" and found they do not exist.

Received a call from 600-233-1234 which was canned music.  I hung up and the call came in again.  The caller ID above shows 888-666-7552.  This is the number for "Pro Nerds", supposedly an internet protection company.  They have called me several times recently and I told them that I did not need their help and did not want their calls.  Looks like they decided to say it with music!

Yup, HSBC telemarketing.  When you call it back, listen to the automated prompts.  Eventually you will be told that you can be removed by pressing 2, then they ask you to enter the phone number that you want removed.  The message claims it could take up to 30 days for the removal.

Thanks for posting this, I've been ignoring for weeks, so now I hopefully have removed (and the message said it would take up to 30 days) so lets hope so!

It's Telemarketing for HSBC. I Just called the number back and use option 2 to remove your phone number from their list.But get this,it may take up to 60 days to remove.

They call everyday, I've stopped answering the phone and let the machine answer, they don't leave a message and their always asking for my sister.

First, let me say that I hope someone from this b*****d company (like Craig) is reading this post, because yesterday they stooped to an all-time low. I have been receiving calls from this number for months now, usually 1 to 2 times daily. This is annoying because I work from home, but I simply pick up the receiver and then promptly hang up.  They continue to call despite the fact that I have told them repeatedly in the past not to call anymore and that I am on the DNC registry.

Yesterday morning they called again at 9:30 a.m.  I did pick up and told them in no UNCERTAIIN terms that they are NEVER to call my house again. Over the next 3 hours they then proceeded to call me FIVE more times!!! (Can we say "telephone harassment?").    

This company is not officially associated with Bank of America (accordiing to BOA), and as of November 2007, I no longer even HAVE a BOA card because of this very company and their disreputable business practices. They have absolutely no legal right to continue to call my home.  

THEREFORE, after yesterday's events (and this is why I am hoping someone from this company is reading this), I have now filed a criminal complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office for telephone harassment and interruption of a public service (they are tying up my telephone and my fax, which I use for business).  I have also filed a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  More people need to do this.  Also, after 25 years with the same phone number, I have now been forced to change my number, which no one should have to do.  Federal DO NOT CALL Registry????  What a joke!!!!!

YES I have gotten calls from this Number also, several times, If I can find there Name and location, I will start billing them $500 per call. You have to bill them 3 times if they do not send the funds, then you can send a defalt letter, (all cirtified letters) if they do not respond then you can take all of this to your county Court Clearks office and have the Sheiff size their property untill you get your funds. Or just turn all your paper work over to a Collection agency.

Not sure if it's HSBC calling me or not, cause I refuse to answer. However, the messages they leave are pre recorded nonsense inquiring as to why I haven't claimed my free 7 night stay for 2 in the Bahamas. If it was legit I would have gotten a letter. Besides the Bahamas isn't my bag. Gimme Vegas

Calls all day long from 0700 to 2200 never leaves messages

They are harassing people who don't have an account with them. Did you even bother to read ALL the posts...."Moron"?

You morons...if you don't pay your bill HSBC will call you.  It's not evil or harassing-pay your damn bills and they will STOP.  Imagine that!

Have been getting repeated calls from this number. When I answer, they are asking for a person that no longer lives at our number. They have been told this but will call back multiple times in a day. And it's worse because they call and if someone does answer, they don't talk or hang up. Once we let them listen to our television for 5 minutes. Then we called the number back it came up with some kind of logging company. I just wish they'd quit calling. Maybe they will get tired of getting either an answering machine, or answered and hung up on too.

This is HSBC and I called to have my phone number removed from their calling list.  However, they state it takes 30 days to remove the number.  In the meantime, they flood my phone with calls, sometimes 7 or 8 calls in a day at all hours of the night and day.

They calls several times a day, and I FINALLY answered now, and they hung up? What's up with that crap! Next time I will answer and ask them to hold on, and just lay the phone down and go about my business, and WILl do this everytime they call.

I found out when I tried to file a complaint against a number that kept call me. that if they didnt leave a message then it was not a reportable offense... so much for theall mighty "Do Not Call list" huh

I've had their number blocked in my phone for 6 weeks now and they STILL call several times a day, AND mostly after 8pm....a bit late!  Sooooooooo tomorrow I'm going to Wal-Mart and buying a coaches' whistle and next time they call I'm gonna answer the phone, cup my hand over the mouthpiece and around the whistle and blow it as hard as I possibly can......and hope they are wearing a headset...........maybe they'll learn now..

I do not wish to recieve calls from this number. I do not answer and they continue calling for months, several times a day.
