They keep calling and I don't pick up because I have shitty cell phone service

They call, don't leave any message.

They called and left a message of a guy humming for a few seconds then hung up. I have no idea how they got my cellphone number.

I am soooooooooo sick of my cell phone ringing.  This number and the number of 405-603-7076 started calling me Friday. They took the weekend off (guess they hit their quota, the JERKS!!!!!!!!!) But started right up today.  Didn't hear at thing from either of them then at 12:20 I guet the 405-603-7076 number at 12:20, then I get this 888-685-0042 number at 12:27.....coinsidence???? I think NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have beeen getting calls from 1-702-239-1331 out of Nevada, I have never answered the phone just let it ring as I do not know anyone in Nevada and it goes to my voice messages and it hangs up. However, I went to my stored history in my home phone (not cell phone) to see how many calls I got from them and the 702 239 1331, added the number of 888-685-0042 into my personaly stored phone number into my phone. I have never answered or called either number. I am at the point of hunting down all information I can find on these numbers and got to the Feds about them.

They call several times a day! I answered once and they told me I won a trip to Las Vegas. I said I'm IN LAS VEGAS.  They apologized. Now they are calling again.  AARGH!!

They called for my 16 year old daughter.  I hear from others that this freak is calling children.  Who can stop this freak?

If you call the number back it says to be takin off their list please enter your number and within 24 hours they stop calling. Its been a week now and no calls. And i use to ge them every day. Try it! Its worth a shot trust me. Its annoying to get calls from weird numbers for no freakin reason!

I think they get the number from online.  My number is not listed but I have recently tried signing up for the "Paid Survey's".  You know, they claim to pay you for answering a few survey's.  (Yeah, I haven't been paid anything yet.)  Anyway, I'm sure this is the way they got my number because I didn't receive any of these calls before then.  If you don't want anymore of these type of calls, then don't put your number online and tell your kids not to do it either.  These people just keep bombarding us with calls all day every day, maybe someday they'll stop.  (Yeah, right!)

5 calls in one day, and I'm on the no-call list.  Who are these people?

I have an unlisted number and on the do not call registry. Refreshed my Do not call about 6 months back. these people are annoying do not answer and do not leave a messages just constantly call from 1-888-685-0042. I thought it was illegal to call someone on the registry and where the hell did they get my number! This is totally insane, were all leaving complaints but there getting away with it. Is there a legal eagle out there that would like to help out. We all would so appreciate any help we can get perhaps you can get to the bottom of it. Thanks

Someone else has signed me up for these phone calls. Very sick of it.

I have asked them to remove me from their list but I'm still getting calls. I have stop picking up but they call all the time. My number is on the "do not call" list. Cell phone shouldn't be on any telemarketer phone list. Now Im getting text messeges from them. text cost me money. I now tell everyone I know about the harassment from this resort. Hopefully the neg word of mouth will stop the telemarketers from calling & texting a person's cellphone.

This number was calling our home several times a day two months ago. They would leave no voicemail so I searched the number online and found this website. I followed the advice of calling the number back and pressing 2 and I have not received anymore phone calls since.

Have you tried the do not call registry? have to wait a month to complain but I did wait and filed a complaint today, maybe a few more complaints and something will be done

The first time I called them back, I got an "off-hook" tone.  When I called them back today, I got the "press 2, enter your 10-digit phone number" option.  It supposedly removes the number within 48 hours.  I hope so, because they normally make 2 calls in very quick succession.  Thank goodness for Caller ID!  They also never leave a message.

888-685-0042 has called my phone many times. It was a timeshare resort. they will offer trips to Vagas, bahamas, cruise ships and many other places.if interested just tell them you cant afford port fees or your just not sure about it and they will drop the price from $500 per person down to about $190. This is the info they gave me. I never give my card info to anyone so I can not tell you fore sure if it is a scam. Their website was www.rci.com
