some try to say I am late  for a balance on a card

A recorded message from US Bank to call them back right way at this toll free number. They said it was about one of my accounts. They even had some of the account numbers!  When they answer they say they are "Card Member Services". When I asked them for whom ( what Bank & credit card firm) they could not tell me till they had my phone number. DO NOT give them any info. Tell them it is a scam and they will hang up on you!

I received a call from 888-690-2849 saying I owed them $10.  They gave no company name and four digits of my account number;  I cannot find any account with these last 4 digits.  Who is this that is calling?

Call repeatedly, no message.

This is a collection service for companies of credit cards that one uses. If there is a late fee assessed on your account, they call to ask if you want to pay it. (I normally make my credit card payments online and was previously told my balance on a certain credit card was 0 but was unaware of a small legitimate charge on a second card with the same company. Because I hadn't made my payment, because I thought I owed nothing, I was assessed a late fee. When I explained the situation to the collection agency at this phone number, they waived the late fee and asked me if I wanted to bring my balance to zero which I did.... so I think it is okay to call back.)

Just got this too! Never heard of the company either. Not calling back.

Have received 2 calls, alledgedly about some past due account, from a company have never heard of.  This number is the one they want me to call back.  Recorded message.
