received a call with no message this morning. problem is...I DON'T HAVE ANY SERVICES WITH VERIZON.

I, too, have received middle of the night calls from this number but no message left.   No, Verizon doesn't get it.

Well I just got Verizon Fios installed 3 days ago and I dont know anything about a ' Pin ' # needing a phone call at 3 am as others have gotten... the Pin number is on every phone bill from Verizon.

So my quess is its a scammer devil.

Anyway, my CID records " Unavailable " for a name and why would a big company do a sneaky thing like hide who they are ?  I'm calling it a scammer bastiage.

My Call Blocker bounced 'em anyway.

This number claims to be from Verizon but when I called Verizon they had no record of anyone calling to make changes or a PIN.

It was a very prompt call from Verizon to give me a temp pin #.  No complaints here.  Had to wait a couple of seconds for the message.  It's a generated voice, so it doesn't respond immediately.  If at odd hours, could someone be trying to hack your account?

Numerous calls from 888-693-9510.  Of course, there is nobody on the line when you pick up the call. It's so frustrating!!! It doesn't help just to ignore those calls because they just keep on coming!

Had the same issue with phone calls at 12:33 a.m. on March 2, 2012.  After a maddening series of transfers, their customer service agent hung up on me.  When I tried their online chat for customer service, they informed me that the glitch in their system had been repaired.  After finding this chat it seems the "glitch" has been problematic for years.

Called me twice at 2:34am and 3:42am about a temporary pin they gave me 2 weeks ago.

It was verizon with a new password.

Isn't it kind of strange that Verizon's caller ID is "unknown"?

Verizon really SUCKS! Just like the previous posts, I requested that a pin at 4:00pm and they called us at 10:00pm. What a totally bogus operation. I've had enough of their horrible customer service. I'm under no contracts, so bye,  bye, Verizon.

- showed up as "UNKNOWN NAME" on my phone
- called at 1:10 PM on 2/22/08 and left no message
- i have just registered our new phone to the do-not-call list, so i don't know if this a rule-breaker or not, time will tell...

they called and did not leave a message.  We also have do not call.  Have not tried calling it back

Kepp caaling usually every other day around 2:08 PM 09-08 -08. Caller List it as Unavailable. I do not pick it up since it's unavailable. No message left. Who is this company? I also have a a do not call.

Verizon calling to give you a temporary pin for accessing your verizon account.  Either someone typed the wrong number, or maybe they were trying to access your account.  I did it because I had forgot my old password. Do you all have Verizon?

They called 5:18pm today...no message. I won't call them back, not interested.
However, we have a new phone number so maybe they were looking for the previous owner of our number.

It's a call from Verizon, wanting to give you a temporary PIN to your account.  I know because I had to do this very thing this morning!  If it wasn't you who requested a temporary PIN, then someone else is (either accidentally or intentionally).

I keep getting calls from 888-693-9510 and someone is on the line I can hear
them breathing, but they never leave a message??? Its really an annoyance and I want them NOT to be able to call me anymore.

Ah, well  it took Verizon 5 days to call with temp pin.... was I supposed to sit here for 5 days and not ans the phone as I waited for pin ?  Good old Verizon

Got a call from Verizon.  At 3AM.  Seriously?

I requested a temporary PIN from Verizon to access the MyVerizon web site. Within one minute I received a call from this number with the PIN. Fantastic!

Got my pin so long ago from Verizon and just got a call at 11:41pm. Will be calling them tom glad I found this website thanks everybody:)

I requested a pin from Verizon online and got a call back immediately but there was just silence on the line- NO PIN NUMBER! Can I now expect to be called at 3AM like people mentioned here??? Fantastic.

Why can't they just email the freaking pin number?!
