You can report anything on this b***s*** post with complaints but I never see  anyone who gives compliments try going on any blog about Bank of America or any other Bank that accepted the bail out money who isn't granting modifications.  This company helped me with the necessary paperwork to get my loan modified to a payment I can afford.

I don't understand the DoNotCall list since I continue to get calls all day long from 800 numbers that show "UNAVAILABLE" as a name. Sometimes when I answer the person (or machine) on the other end doesn't make a sound so I just hang up. I write the 800 numbers down and then look them up, like this one. I have 12 different 800 numbers so far listed. What good is the DNC registration doing? I'm thinking DNC sold my name to these people!

They waste my time, I'll waste theirs.

They called this a.m.. Got hold of a very docile sounding girl. She admitted she was on her third day there. I told her she wouldn't last long at this "scam" company as she was too nice. Normally I keep them on the line by asking inane and crass questions until they cant stand it anymore and hang up on me.

Got a message from them yesterday talking about calling me back about my home mortgage. I don't have a mortgage, so I certainly wouldn't have called someone about it. It's funny, though, how many calls I've gotten from bad sources since I registered with the Do Not Call registry. Could it be that it's because you can't report anyone until after 31 days have passed since you've registered?

Same call, several times.  "Heather" is not "trying to make a living", she's participating in a scam and illegally calling people on the DNC registry.  Don't just complain here - if you're on the Do Not Call registry, use this link to report the violation and help stop the calls:

https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

More complaints means a bigger fine.  Remember the similar extended auto warranty calls last year?  Seemed they'd never end, but enough people reported them that the Feds shut them down.

They called and didn't leave a message.  So, I called back and talked with a person named Heather.  Their company is called HELPUSAVE.ORG.  So, I checked online.  Here is their contact info:
http://www.helpyousave.org/contact  I asked Heather how she got our number because we don't need help with our mortgage because we don't have a mortgage!  She said that perhaps someone inadvertently gave them our phone number.  She was quick to take our phone number off their list and I told her that our number is on the DO NOT CALL national registry.  She apologized and said nobody from their firm should ever call us again.

Further research on who owns the website "helpyousave.org."  It's a company called "United Doc Prep" same address as on the website.  Here's the link:  http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=helpyousave.org&type=domain

Loan Mortgage modification call from Heather.  Only 1 call from her/them (so far) so I don't mind as she's trying to make a living as we all are.  I will save phone number to my SPAM contacts with no ring associated with it and it essentially goes away.

Ohhh, goody, I found they left a message. Brazen little tart who calls herself "Heather" with the shtick that she is "calling me back" ( I never called) to discuss refinancing my mortgage (which I do not have). There are two other reasons these bottom feeders could be pulling this scam, in addition to my theory they are  set upon us by bottom-feeding zombie debt collectors. 1) They are simply scammers, and they put in that nonsense about "returning your call" in a brazen attempt to cover themselves, should you record their message, as they are not supposed to be making telemarketing calls cold to people who have signed up for Do Not Call list; or, 2) this is a different kind of scam, one designed to find out whether the telephone number is a working number. The second possibility would more likely explain why they refuse to answer questions about their business when persons pick up and question them. Finally, maybe making those outrageous obnoxious lying statements that they are "calling us back" is meant to goad us into enough anger that we will call back, to yell at them. Most pest calls do not leave a call-back number. Do NOT fall for the bait! Do not give them the satisfaction of getting any sort of response at all when they make your phone ring. Let it be a total waste of their efforts.

First time this number has called, left no message. One report of "mortgage refinancing," above. We do not have a mortgage. We are, however, being harassed by the zombie debt collection industry bottom feeders, both Portfolio Reovery and Midland Credit Management  -- for the same debt! Last September, Portfolio "cancelled" a debt they never verified was mine, never verified they owned, and never verified their claimed amount, BUT they have continued to call ever since, while the Midland outfit began calling in February of this year, and I suspect that several other bottom-feeders who are calling and calling, are fronts for these two disreputable companies. That is probably the origin of a lot of these "lower your credit card interest rate" callers, the phony "credit consolidation" callers, the fake "mortgage refinancing" pests like 888-714-7202, and even the "free alarm system" crowd who spoof calls from North Dakota. They are all "phishing" on behalf of the zombie debt bottom feeders. Do NOT ever pick up if the number on your caller ID is not an expected call. Anybody who has legitimate business with you will leave a message.
