They call and tell you that you're being charged with a crime like a summons to a f****ng actual crime. Then you call then and they tell you that you made a fraudulent loan out (i have no idea what this koan is and further never received the funds) and you have 2 options, pay them or go to court got for a felony i didn't commit. I asked for proof and paperwork on this transaction and they said that I'll get that when i get charged with fraud. There's your proof its a f****ng scam. I didn't take this loan out and they refuse to give me proof of this crime. This is a low end shake down system that is embarrassing vig shake Doreen. Don't p**sy then s*** ever.

Validate the debt first! Follow the FDCPA, otherwise take a hike!

Sorry Ashley... I meant FTC .. not FCC ... Federal Trade Commission
| Rizzo 2013-04-26 03:51:35 Unknown |
That is so not allowed ! Remind them of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ... calling a place of employment, or relatives, or neighbors, is clearly against the law. Tell them you're reporting them to the FCC and do it. If you don't they will continue with their illegal practices. Hang up on them or, better yet, don't even take the call. How dare them call you at work !
| Rizzo 2013-04-26 03:49:10 Unknown |
Don't give them a dime .. whether you think you owe the money or not. They'll never clear your credit and chances are, you'll probably never be rid of them. They're sharks ... desperate sharks. Don't be their prey. Chances are your debt has already been written off by the original creditor - and these guys paid five cents on the dollar for the debt. Eventually, they've got to give up when they see they're getting nowhere.

They want you to think they're lawyers - actually they're a poorly orchestrated collection agency. Leaving elaborate messages with intent to intimidate ... wanting to 'verify' my home and employment .. threatening that 'this is my last warning' and then threw in something about mediation and a case and process service, yada yada yada. I am in the legal profession. We do debt collection. We don't call and ask for address verification ... we already have that info. These are bottom feeding collection agents who only get paid when they collect. They have no knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act nor are they anywhere close to professional. They're thugs, plain and simple.
Educated attorneys don't bully you. They don't call you ever - nor do they leave intimidating messages. My advice would be to not answer the phone ... When you're being sued you'll get notice from a real attorney, the real way and not some fly-by-night collection agency and their uneducated employees.
By the way - the person they are looking for is not even someone I know.

I have gotten a few messages from some young kid. He is telling me that there are charges against me and a case. He has verified my place of employment and residence for process service. You can tell he has no clue how the justice system works. If there were "charges" as he claims they would not be calling you in the first place. Second, They are not going to serve you if there are charges. Second, he says to contact the firm handling my case. Since I have not hired a lawyer, I assume he means them. If that is the case, then again there are no charges. LOL. I understand that I owe them money. But to lie about it and say that you are with some kind of law enforcement is kind of a stretch.....

This seems to be collection agency for CASHNET. They state they are Alternative Dispute Resolution which according to federal trade commission they are same as collection agency.
