Here is some information that I hope some (or all) of you will use.

You can go to a website entitled IC3.gov. (capital I, capital C). This is exactly for crimes such as this. It is a partnership between the Interstate Commerce Commission and the FBI. I haven't been there yet; I just got this information from my bank. My guess is that there is a form that we can complete.

I spent several hours on the phone with AT&T. These charges to our accounts don't come from AT&T. Just about everyone I spoke with at AT&T recommended filing a fraudulent charge report with your bank. Most banks will issue a temporary credit to your account. I think that printing off these pages and taking them to the bank with you might be a good idea.

I am more concerned about who we, as consumers, can contact to prosecute the people behind this scheme. I sure hope it's not a matter of no agency being willing to get involved. As for suing them, to me, that would be up to an attorney, e.g., financial costs and expenses vs. benefits.

I wish you all the best. As a Viet Nam vet, this kind of thing going on in our country truly disappoints deeply.

This morning, I noticed a charge to our checking account in the amount of $44.49. It was described as "3rd Party AT&T Business Phone Payment". I called AT&T and they had no record of it. I called my bank and they suggested filling out a "fraudulent charge" with them.

Elsewhere I read that someone was told that their fraudulent charges were based on their card being swiped. Someone else recommended cancelling their card(s) and getting new ones from their bank.

My question is: Who do consumers contact to get this stopped and/or get the perpetrators prosecuted, particularly in the cases of people who have been unsuccessful in getting their money back? Does anyone in law enforcement or the legal profession monitor this site? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a charge on my card for $26.70 and it said it was from ATT*Cons pmt how do I get this back on my card.

well i too have had money taken off my account from att bus payment 80.00$ today im pissed, i have had several issues with them im bout to go crazy on the stupid f#$%@rs they was the worst mistake i ever made

I was checking my account today and notice that my account was charged 12.80 for a bus phone ..whatever. there is no number to link them im investing this to the fullest

i just called that number and i check it. bus phone means internet. when you aply att internet automatcally att going change the money from your account

like wut the flippp!!!!!!!!!!! i went to pick up someone from bus station an it said i needed to pay 1.00 for parking. i swiped my card an today i called my card an it said 110.00 is transacted off of my card. I am calling the local news.....how could Amtrak and Greyhound allow this? Too make it so bad we just drove right out of the parking lot for free!!!!!!!!! they dont want this!!!!!!!!!

hi yes i found a charge on my card that i didnt make and nor did i know what it was from, si i googled it and found that other people were being scamed, mine was only a dollar, but in any case if other people are being scamed for more who know if they are going back for more.something needs to be done about this.Im not sure if i ever recieved a call but it sure showed up on my card today and i havent been anywhere but to the store to get milk.I will find out whats going on
