Just got a call from 888-735-0697 a lady, very rude, refused to say who she is, when i asked if i can leave a message, said "i am not leaving a message with you" and hung up.
this is a crazy company and way to do business

this number called my house phone we didn't answer, then immediately called my cell phone which my husband did answer and they hung up?

They have called several times a day for about a week according to my caller ID. I finally picked up and got a message that said "Please hold we have an important message for you..." so I held, then I was transfered to a line that rang a few times before I got a message "If you'd like to make a call" like the line had disconnected. I used to get calls years ago from collection agents looking for the people who used to have my number. This must be related.

it's a debt collection agency called IC systems

yeah i just missed a call from this number this morning and i called it back and the lady was rude and she wouldnt tell me who she was calling for. i have recieved collection calls on this phone before from people looking for someone else.

these ppl keep calling!! I know its at least 6-8 times a day.  When I can actually get someone to pick up the phone to see why they call so much, they will rudely hang up.  When I finally attempted to get to the bottom of this, the company in question had no idea what I was talking about and I did not owe them a thing.  Please beware of this company for any fraud acts they may try on you

got 5 calls from this company in four hours. they are a fraud company. they try to collect from people who will just pay them to get them to stop calling. DO NOT give them any information. they are NOT a real bill collector and will clean out any bank account they get the number to. when asked to provide proff of the debt in writing or on paper they get rude and hang up. these people need to be stoped! they have scamed several elderly people in my area and have been the ratted off by local news media. total scum bags!

I just got a call from this number and the man, young guy with lots of background noise, asked me to verify my name and address. When I asked what this was about, he said he couldn't tell until I verified my info. Of course, I DID NOT VERIFY A THING and he got aggressive with me on the phone. I asked him why and then he threatened to keep calling me until I verified my info. I again told him no and he hung up on me. THIS IS SCAM! DO NOT TALK TO THIS MAN AT ALL.

It is I.C Systems and they sent me a letter it is for a phone service i had about 7 years ago the creditors will start calling right when the debt is about to be dropped off of your credit. They call all the time if they ask for you just say they have the wrong number. I heard that if you tell them that it is you they can put it back on your credit for another 7 years. They are very rude I told them they had the wrong number and the guy said that he didnt believe that he had the wrong number so i just told him to stop calling and hung up.

Someone called my cell phone with this number for like 7 times a day, and I decided not to pick up this call since I have no idea who he/she is.

These guys are a nuisance.  Been calling for years about a check written to someone who is now incarcerated that was not cashed before the 180 day deadline on an account that is long since been closed.  One of the relatives found it and turned it over to these guys.  Their fee is more than 5X the amount of the check and if they really had a claim, they would take it into court.  I believe they have a whole list of dead end accounts because the call almost always come on Fridays or in the last minutes of the business day.

Just received ANOTHER phone call from these people....it's harrassment....they are looking for my son, who doesn't live here, and they have been told that by myself and my husband....they told him that they will continue to call!!!!

Received two calls on my personel cell today.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.  So I did not talk to anyone.  I have received multiple calls from this number previously.

This number is a collection agency. If you're getting calls from this number you owe someone alot of money. It's people like all of you that are the reason this economy is about to crash.. people spending irresponsible and not paying their debts. sit back and blame the government and blame bush and blame the crediting agencies for giving you the money in the first place, but it's all your fault. It is 8:45 on thanksgiving and these jerks have called my cell TWICE!!! They rang my cell 6 times yesterday. I guess they are looking for the previous owner of my cell number, but I have had my number for over a year.
Calling them didn't help. At least Virgin Mobil said they would change my number for free......

kept getting this number as well, answered it the first few times and nobody on the other end so I hung up. This is on a pre-paid cell phone and is really getting annoying having them call 3+ times a day.

Called repeatedly, tried to charge me extra fees AFTER the account was paid in full! When trying to explain to the operator Josh,he cussed me out and threatened me. When I demanded to speak with his supervisor he said "if you raise your voice to me I'll end the call now and mark as refusal of payment right now"! When I asked for his last name he said "my extention is 6837,that's all you need to know". These people are exceedingly rude and menacing!!!

I'm also getting calls from this number. Most of time, I only could recorded voice, but one time, I was connected to a man. He just said, "Are you my_name?" so I said, "yes" and then he hang up the call. It looks like they even call me at my home phone. As reading through this thread, I got to know they are kind of "collection company" but I don't have any unpaid bill or something like that so far. Should I ignore this call?

They called; they hung up/disconnected after I identified myself as the wife of the person they were trying to reach. I called back and spoke to someone & explained that I was willing to resolve any issue if there indeed was one, and if they had the correct person--he was actually very pleasant.I also told him that I thought it was counter productive to hang up on people when you actually get someone on the phone! Anyway, turns out it was related to a Sprint bill. We forgot to cancel long dist with them when we moved and were continuing to be billed--our fault. I made my pyt by phone. Done deal.
