05-12-12 WPG 1801 PARK COURT PL STE B102, SANTA ANA, CA 92701 without my knowledge and authorization pulled my whole credit file through Experian. It is upsetting is that they can get that easy into my credit file. I only found out because I received an alert notice from Equifax. I am in the process to place fraud alerts with all three agencies and to have the inquiry removes from my file.

Guess I'll add myself to the list. Mr. Holmes called me on 2/28/12, saying I needed to be home in order to be served a summons. I was given a case number (bogus) News flash, my cousin was a process server. They don't call ahead of time. They knock on your door, and if you are not home, they leave a card. I said I was not taking a day off to be at home, and he could deliver it to my work. I work at a school. The day came and went, no one showed. They called back on 3/1, saying that they cannot serve at a school (yes they can), and that they need to serve me at home. I told him my hours, and he said that was not good enough. I said to him that I know this is a scam, and that I had reported him to my local news and the FTC (I did). He then got very upset and called me a deadbeat. I told him that I know for a fact that I have NO outstanding debt in collections. He then gave me an account number and the number for HSBC. I called them, and sure enough...NO DEBTS. The guy actually threatened to take my car! Unless he holds the title to my car, there is no way he can do that. Sorry. Do not call these people back. They use differing cell numbers and blocked calls to get over on people.

This is the 4th time this has happened. This time they called RESTRICTED. Ordinarily I don't answer these calls, but I was on break at work and for some reason I answered.  The man asked for a lady, I wont say the name, but I never confirmed if I was her. I ask who is calling, he says Dan (I forget the last name ) I said I don't know you. He asked if this was her again. I responded what is this pertaining to. He responds with her name, saying the reason he is calling is he is a processing server and needs my address so he can issue me a subpoena. I never gave any info other than letting him Know I have received several calls from scamming companies and that I am giving fair warning if you are one leave me alone cause I am about to call the police and file harassment charges. He says it's not a scam (as if he would tell me it was). Also if. I don't cooperate he will go to court and they will issue a bench warrant for my arrest.  I asked the company or person who wants this subpoena issued he gave a company I couldn't Google. I asked what state did this situation occur he gave me the run around. Said I give him the address and when he arrives with the papers he will read them to me, or he can patch me through to there other office by satellite so I can speak to someone and maybe he wouldn't have to come out.. I still didn't give information,  told him call me around 7 p.m. and I will call a lawyer to see if I should even waste my time. First off I am not dumb,  nobody is warned that they will get subpoenaed. Second the government "courts" have all your addresses to issue any subpoena to you. Third a government office will not call blocked. Not to mention they will verify who they are speaking with so they are not violating the privacy act. Also, any time you receive a subpoena, the person issuing it just says "Are you such and such" you say yes they say "You've just been served" that's it. They don't open your letter (which is a federal offense) and read it to you! Next time they need to call someone who didn't want to be a lawyer and whose family is not in every part of the legal system from cop all the way up to judge!

Who was he served by?  This particular outfit is a scam.  They are not a legitimate company.  Soon they themselves will be legally served.

I checked my Experian credit report today and a company WPG  was listed and I didn't authorize them to look at my report.  It will stay on my report until 2013 and it also took points off my report.  GRRR  I sent Experian a dispute letter and told them to remove it as I did not give them permission.  You work  hard to keep your credit in good standing and it is so easy for some a**hole to mess it up, this should not be allowed.  There was no phone number listed for the company either on my report, very similar to what I have read on here.  The company has not called me they better not because I will be ready.

Thank God my mama didn't raise no fool. My husband got this same call on his voice mail and started to flip out. He then forward this voice mail and I heard it myself. Same story different day. yada yada yada....we are sending an officer to your home of ............and if you do not respond we will continue with this summons suit. At first I was like WTF! I double check our money and none of us have and credit cards nor do we have card debt. However the case I decided to call after hours and listen to their answer machine service. I got all the info like the company name the phone number. I then went to my computer and looked up this company and phone number and.......TADA this site. Thank you so much. I was about to panic about this and now I feel better about it.

This is  a total scam. I got the message off my machine last friday, it says EXACTLY what everyone else on here has been saying. Message was from a Don Moss, says he was from the process servers office, wanted to let me know he had a "SC100" he was going to have court offices "serve" me in regards to a "civil litigation" . He then said if I wanted to avoid going to court , I should call a company he referred to as P.F.G. @ 1-888-753-3849, and "try to work something out. I called, whoever picked up the phone didn't sem to have a clue as to why i was calling them, until i gave them the "case" # Don Moss told me to reference, I was then put on hold. "Alex" picked up the phone, and told me I was named in a civil suite from Visa, going back to 2006. I told him he was nuts, and he seemed very adamant about me being sued. I said "how much are we talking"?, he said 1800, but they'll settle today for 666.00. I said no way is he  getting that out of me today, I offered to make payments, he was very nice, until I told hime I didn't have a credit, or debit card, and I didnt have a checking account. I barely got the word "account" out of my mouth, and he hung up on me. I tried calling back, got nothing but a busy signal. Folks, let me just say, process servers DO NOT CALL YOU TO TELL YOU THEY'RE COMING OUT TO SERVE YOU!!!!!!, I should've known it was a scam just by the message "Don" left me.....

I got a restricted call today on my cell phone, so I did not pickup (I never do on those). As it turns out it was a good thing. The message Don Edwards left me said he was from the PDI processing service Division, in regards to a matter that was just forward to his office. SC100 is being scheduled and an officer to come to "he gave my address" if I didn't call back. Then said this was a time sensitive matter and to call back at 888-753-3849, then gave a case #.  This was the weirdest message I have ever had, and with it showing up as a restricted call really made me wonder if the was a scam. I  Googled everything I could think of then I finally put in the # that they gave me. I found this site. It was as I thought, a scam, I deleted the message and never called them back.  Idiots!!

They called a family member.  Do not know how they got a number for them, as they do not have same last name.  Told them that they were going to file papers for me to be arrested if I did not call them back.  Said that it was a Lawyer office.  When I returned the call, Machine said it was the Pristine Financial Group.  They are trying to scare people.  They should not be able to treat people like this, even over the phone.  They should not be calling family members and upsetting them like this.

I received a message from a Sean Matthews and very similiar message this was a courtesy call and informing me that a deputy was going to serve me SB100 or something and thatmyself or my legal representative contact them immediately. I have not called back yet because the message sounded fishy I looked it up first and I was directed here and a few other places and everyone seems to agree that this is some type of scam. I am sure it is a debt collector but have no clue what for, it must be old because I just bought a car last week no problem lol. If anyone who has reported them has had any feedback I would love to know, please keep posted.

I'm a writer and just received a call from this number and the lady threatened me, however, I told her that I don't take too kindly to threats and that I would aim below her navel if she made good on her threats to darken my doorstep and to haul me off to jail. She said OMG and hung up.

July 5, 2011 @ 1:42pm  I got a message left on my cell phone from a Michael Bates at Process Service office looking for a Melvin. I stupidly called the number to let him know he had the wrong number and he or whoever answered was unbelievably rude. He called me a dead beat for some reason and when I asked the name of his company and his name he told me "nada" and hung up.  Who do I report this to? The FCC? Does anyone know? These calls need to be stopped.  They can't harrass people for no reason.

This company claim to call me for information saying I owe and they were going to sue me. The only thing was they would not give me their address or anything about the company but was trying to get me to give my information. I told him I was recording the call and he said he was to. I told him by law you did not say that and I just read you the right of me calling. He did not give me anymore information and wanted me to tell him who I was, I refuse and he hung up. Claim they were TGI and PDI Group. Then Kevin Wynn (claim that was his name) said Prestige Financial.

Returned a call to this number.  Gave the "case number" and was transferred.  Man answered the phone wanted to verify my ss# and date of birth before giving me details of a "civil suit" that I would be served for. I refused to give my personal info to a company I don't recognize. Man got nasty, said he didn't believe it was me BUT that they would proceed with legal service.
