Hey Jymi!   Don't be tryin to insult "ghetto women". This company is worse than that. They have done the same thing to me when asked to remove my number from this list.

JJJ... people like YOU are the reason for our downfall in society. You borrowed money from Chase bank so that mean You owe that money. Who do you think you are and why do you have such a sense of entitlement? No one owes that money but you! Did you ever think the lady on the phone was just a kind hearted person and that's the way she ends her calls with everybody?  Her being a Godly person has nothing to do with the money YOU owe. "If they want to be so Godly, then let them pay the debt"
Is there now some rule that in order to be Godly you should pay the debt of someone else? NO!!! You borrowed the money for yourself. It was probably for something stupid, like a tv or a vacation and in which case you have no business having any of those unless you can afford to pay for it without borrowing the money...

They aren't the bad guys, you are! If you borrow money and don't pay it back you deserve to get a phone call.... 4 times a day 7 days a week until you pay for it. If you don't have the means to pay the money back then you should never borrow it in the first place.

Not one person on this thread has any business complaining about these people if you are the ones that owe the money! Get over yourselves, no one owes you anything!

They called my parent's house asking for me (but had my middle name as my first name), and said that it was very important that I return the call. When I called, they asked for my SSN to identify me. I instead had them look me up by the number they tried to call. I was disconnected because my phone died. When I was called back they asked for my SSN. I was so frustrated with my phone that I didn't even think and said it.  I called back later and was assured that they are legitimate and that I was not the person in the system and that they are honest. Are they identity thieves?

This number 1888-787-1183 ha been calling me everyday... it wont stopped!

I just filed a complaint on DoNotCall.Gov too. The more people who do this, the quicker they get fined.

They call, I ignore.  Simple as that.

Keep calling looking for someone who evidently had my cell phone number years ago. I tell them I do not know that person, have had this number for a couple years, call T-Mobile and they said the number was out of service at least several months or more before reassigning it to me, and to please stop calling and using up my minutes. But, they continue to call ignoring my requests. They need to be sued.

This company calls me all the time.  I have loads of fun when they call ~ Laugh at them, tell them oh really your a collection agency huh? And? So I owe you and?  So what you gonna do pick my butt?
Recently though they started calling me 3-4 times a day. So if they want to harrass me. I am going to start calling them all day long and harass them like they are me. It should be fun. Plus, I plan on posting their number on all social sites for everyone to call - so they can get in addition to my harassment, my friends too.

Crazy people!  They call all day long sometimes up to 10 times in a row and hang up.  After finally talking to them, I asked them to please stop calling me and they said they would come to my house and get me instead!  What the heck is that about???  Very disturbing!  Do not answer this number!  File a complaint with the national do not call registry!

You are right...Capital Collection Agency.  They called us (in our 70's) asking for one of our ADULT children not living with us.  How do they get all the relatives names and phone numbers?  Seniors are not responsible for Adult relatives.  I hate the recording "by accepting this call you are assumed to be that person"---what a bunch of bull.  If you can't settle things with the debtor, don't harass relatives!

They called me & didn't pick up & texted me immediately after saying "PLEASE CALL." creepy..

Called looking for my brother. Said he had called from my number (never happened). Gave them his number and then got a call for him a week later. This time I said I didn't know him and to stop calling.

I receive calls daily from  this munber. It is a leased number from ATL Communications. You might want to file a complaint with them.

Said she was from Chase and needed to verify the year I was born before she could tell me what the call was about. When I gave her my birth year she quoted another year and began to ask for more information. I would not cooperate so she hung up.

Bunch of annoying nats.  If they think they are gong to get any communication with me by calling constantly in the early morniging and especially on weekends they will get reported.

In response to Sarah...why in the world would you write to them and give them your number and address and all the personal info about yourself.  That's a sure way to put yourself out their for every other harrasser and scammer.  I've worked in the biz (no more!) and they all sell and share informaiton.

These calls are from Capital Management...a DEBT COLLECTION CO.  Legally, they can call.  What is illegal is that they are calling me for someone who met my son over 10 years ago...and somehow got our phone number from him.  He apparently used us as references on some loan, and has now defaulted.  He was in FL, I'm in NJ...not even close!!!

I have not seen or heard from him in all this time.  When I explained this, they said they were going to remove us from their files.  SURE!!!  That's why I'm still getting calls.

BTW- A new twist.  They leave a message,which goes like:  "John Smith, please listen to this message.  (Pause of about 15 seconds)  Since you listened to this pause, you MUST BE John Smith.  Blah, blah, blah"  Well, hello!  Of course, I will listen to messages on my answering machine!!!
