We just called and got a reservation for the 90 min presentation. Then I 'googled' the company - yeow! I was thinking the two nights/Marriott would be nice - and the $50 gift MasterCard... but it sounds like no one has had a good experience with this company. I wonder why you canceled - why not just 'no show'?  And we definitely don't answer the phone before 10am on Saturdays! Anyone go to the pitch for the 'reward' of the Marriott nights and try to use them yet?

I got a birthday note with a complimentary Marriott getaway for 3days/2night offer and stupidly called this number and felt a scam coming on.  The guy was so persistent in getting an appointment time... i didn't make one.  Now they have my name, my husband's name address and home phone number.  I hope they won't harass me.  What can I do now?

VIP Travel Reservations, Inc. -- Scam artists -- see http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/vip-travel-reservations-inc-c57774.html -- "free" stay at Marriott requires listening to a nearly-criminal sales pitch, and then a money order with rules designed to void the offer.

They're a national company, with complaints recorded in VA, NM, and CA.

Phony "travel itinerary" in the junk mail refers to Pulaski Tickets and Tours, 2190 Meridian Park Blvd Suite A, Concord, CA 94520.

If you received VIP's junk mail and called the number, they probably have your number in their "suckers" file and will use it to harass you and sell it to other scam artists. (Remember that when you call any toll-free number, you automatically disable your caller-ID-blocking for that call, so your number gets recorded by the company.)
