I'll venture a guess that the "United" refers to Unipoint Holding, a massive junk debt buyer which may identify as United Recovery Systems. Threats of arrest, litigation, and asset seizure from a debt collector are serious federal violations. Ditto for making false debt accusations, as these payday collections thugs often do. Meanwhile, defaulting on a lender is not a criminal act, it is a business problem. Nonetheless you Buffalo Bullies all want to make debt seem worse than murder in broad daylight while making flimsy excuses for your own resistance to what the laws demand of you.

The only scam artist's i see are the ones that sign a contract to take a loan and then do everything they possibly can to not pay it back. thats stealing and you should be put in jail.. Do not try to blame a collection agency for contacting you on an agreement that you made and then did not honor..

maybe you have not passed bad checks in the way you might think, all these collection agencies collect on bad pay day loans that checks were written to pay them back. its a debt not paid. simple ... now everybody wants to think that everybody is a scam b-cuz you do not want to pay your bills ... get over it and take care of your commitments...

These people are part of a tag team - Anthony Taylor the locator calls to say is has a summons that will be served upon you but if you call this number 888-810-6790 you can rectify it.  I called that number because I do have debt (which is i have been paying off through a debt consolidator) then they want you to verify your ssn.  I ask for their names & the company name - which is United that's all the tell you - but they freely admit they have your ssn - they just want to verify.

Anthony Taylor called my boss and stated to her that I passed bad checks - that's defamation of my character I believe and what recourse do I have?  I don't pass bad checks, I am in debt & these scumbags are trying to exploit it.

I just called my attorneys office and he identified these clowns as frauds.  call your attorney general's office and they will shut them down!!!  Same crap happened to me.  No process server is going to call you and tell you they are coming. Greg if you check this page again, please tell your boss that these are scam artists!  My attorney checked into it.  A real debt collector knows that they cannot talk to a third party.  they will not give an address which lets us know that they are fake.  They want your account number.
