Foreign accent about a loan of some sort, I have told him to stop calling me, now they call when I answer they hang up quickly. I might talk so I can get more information for reporting them.

We are on the no call list national and state, still get these calls from this number.  I don't answer the phone when I see the number.  That don't work either

Just today I have recieved 5 calls in 7 minutes from this particular number. I have tried to call these numbers  back & I always get a recording that the number has been disconnected or is not a valid number. called me many times asking for someone who does not live here..started documenting dates and times. truthful info is at 1:45 pm on thur  7/26 i asked to speak to a supervisor and he called me a f---ing b--ch. another number that has called is 800-432-1112. then they started coming in as "out of area" i have placed a complaint with the fed trade comm...any other suggestions other than quit answering my phone?

Whatever you do, dont call the number back. I think that's what they want you to do when they hang up on you all the time. If they call you and you tell them to stop and they keep calling then they can get in trouble for it. But if you call them to try to get it to stop, you took it upon yourself to make contact with them and then they can call you no matter what. Even if you tell them not to.

I get the calls about my "Auto Loan Application" being accepted also. I recently was online and did a survey where I had to use my phone number. Had nothing to do with an auto loan. I believe it was from a survey from a resuraunt. I supposed thats where they got it from. Sometimes they just hang up and sometimes I get hung up on when I say "I've told you not to call me" and then someone else calls about 2 hrs later. Calls start at 10am on the dot every day and are every 2 hrs.

Caller has heavy Indian accent. Talking about car loans which i have not applied for. When i started to tell them not to call anymore they hung up.

i dont ask but when i call back the number is disconnect, can something be done for this scam artist.

Call and say I have a 10K loan that I requested. Never did this. Just want your information - will call up to 15 times a day despite being asked to stop

Who ever this clown is keeps calling about  a car loan. I have a new car.

Annoying! Keep calling me about student loans! I am married, 35 years old. I have no reason to be getting these calls. Called me very early several times.

I keep getting phone calls from this number.  They told me that I was interested in information regarding a car loan.  That was news to me as I have a new car.   I have told them repeatedly to take me off their list but apparently they don't think they have to.

I I told these idots not to call me again or I would report them. The guy has a heavy accent, he's telling me he wants to take my application for a car loan, First of all I have a car and I am not crazy enough to give out my information on an unsolicited request!!!

Not sure what you mean by "legal action" however unfortunately these numbers appear to be FAR outside the US, in some 3rd world boiler room, so most of what you do will have no effect, that is how these types of places are able to operate with such impunity.

THEY HAVE CALLED ALL DAY LONG FOR THE LAST WEEK.  EITHER FROM THIS NUMBER OR A PRIVATE/ BLOCK NUMBER.  TOLD THE FOREIGN MAN, I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN A CAR LOAN, THE MAN SIMPLY CALLS BACK AND SAYS THE SAME THING OVER AGAIN.  I'M REALLY SICK OF IT AS WELL....NO MEAN NO, DAMNIT!!  LOL

I have been a victim of identity theft.  My personal information has been compromised and money has been taken out of my bank recently.  Whatever company did this is now selling my information to other companies because I field about 10 calls/day.  

Yesterday, this particular company's rep claimed to be "an investigation officer."  When I asked him about what kind of officer he was, he told me the BCI, Bureau of Consumer Investigations.  He was nasty and rude, trying to get me to give him money.  They are not a survey company.  They are a scam.

They called again this AM and I offered him my teet to suck on.  He hung up immediately.

I will be calling AT&T to block this number.

I have been getting called from this number for approximatly 1 month now. When I answer there is a person on the other end asking for Vanessa. I have told this person, im not her and they have the wrong number. Yet they are continuosly calling my phone back. Sometimes they block the number. I have asked for manager/supervisor but they hang up. I was told that my number would be removed. Between yesterday and today i have been called over 16 times. If I call the number back a recording comes on and says the number is no longer in service or has been disconnected. These people are driving me crazy with the calls~!!

I am also being harrassed by this number.  I believe it to be a scam artist as I was told I had won some money.  I happen to know that I have not entered any contests so therefore-----SCAM !!!  It is best to ignore the call and not answer if you have caller ID

I would like to kmow how to make them stop calling because it doesn't matter how many times I told them I don't want a car loan they keep on calling, is really annoying!!!

Started getting these calls yesterday.  They never leave a message if my answering machine picks up.  They use invalid area codes and 888 numbers.  It's a little after 1 p.m. EST and I have already received 5 calls today.  First I was told they were calling from a payday advance company.  I told the guy to stop calling and that I know they were trying to scam me and he insisted that it wasn't a scam.  He had a very thick India accent.  Basically I told him to f*ck off.  Then I get another call about 30 minutes later.  This time it was for an auto loan.  I told them that there is a trace on my phone and they would be found and that I intended to press charges.  They hung up.  Had more calls and they continue to hang up.  The last call I had, I played a song by Dope called "Die motherf#cker die" very loudly into the phone.  Again, they hung up.  I intended to do this anytime I get these kind of calls.   :)

This IS extortion and the FBI should be made aware of it.  These c**** jockeys need to be stopped.  What a bunch of sad losers they are.  I guess I would be pissed off too if my entire country smelled like an armpit and I constantly had sand in my a$$ crack.

I was applying for a car loan and got a call back and I thought it was regarding the loan and gave them my inforamtion.  I think I have been had and now worried about my SS#, what do I do now?

They say they r a loan company. I told them I did not apply for a car loan . I assume they are calling from India, Since that is the accent of each person I have spoke with. Today a lone they have called me 8 times I have told them all to stop calling me and they just hang up on you! When you try to call the 1-88-816-4681 number back it states its disconnected! BEWARE I am sure this company is fraud since the telephone number states disconnected when you try calling it back...

TELEPHONE NUMBER is disconnected when you try to return call, today alone I have received 4 calls for this telephone number on my cell phone! So Im sure what ever they do or say they do they are fraud!
