This "company" is an absolute joke. I ignored the calls the first MONTH or so that I was getting them (I receive spam calls all the time despite being on the do not call list), only to find out that they are affiliated with my gym. I would like to know who in their right mind would think this is a legitimate service right away. They call and immediately ask you to enter your credit card number. I cancelled my membership with the gym and they continue to call. It blows my mind that legitimate services would affiliate themselves with these scumbags. I will NEVER use any service who handles their "billing information" through this "company". Way too sketchy. Also very unprofessional customer service. Really pathetic.
My daughter, Susan White, called the number sent to her by a company promising to renegotiate her student loan and create a reduction of the loan. Unfortunately, she game them her social number and pin number at her bank. She called back and was told it was all safe and she could call the agent directly at 714 482 6240. I paid People Finder to trace the numbers, and all that the could come up with was a category (Loan Servicing) and Brea, Ca. No company name and no street address. This leads me to believe this is a scam to get her personal info. Please check this out

I PAID FIRST AND LAST MONTH, NO CONTRACT, NO RECURRING PAYMENTS. THIS WAS MADE VERY CLEAR WHEN I SIGNED UP WITH VISION QUEST.
THUS, I AM PAID THROUGH APRIL 16. HOWEVER, ON MARCH 1, I BEGAN RECEIVING DAILY CALLS FROM ABC FINANCIAL TALKING ABOUT MY GYM MEMBERSHIP. I NEVER ANSWERED THE CALL EVEN ONCE, BUT THEY CONTINUE CALLING EVERY DAY. I USED CALL BLOCKERS AND BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER, BUT THEY SOMEHOW CALLED MY HOME PHONE *AND* MY SKYPE PHONE *AND* MY GOOGLE VOICE NUMBER!!
SO EVEN THOUGH I AM CURRENT WITH MY PAYMENT AND NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE RECURRING PAYMENTS, (I PAID WITH CASH), VISION QUEST STILL ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE MY CANCELED CREDIT CARD ON MARCH 1, AND WHEN IT DID NOT GO THROUGH (BECAUSE OF COURSE IT IS CANCELED AND I AM CURRENT WITH PAYMENTS), THEY **IMMEDIATELY** SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS WITH ABC COLLECTIONS!!! EVEN THOUGH I DON'T EVEN OWE ANY MONEY!!!
THIS IS COMPLETE BULL S***, AND VISION QUEST FITNESS IS A REALLY F****NG SCUMMY COMPANY FOR PULLING THIS BULL S***!! GOOD THING I GAVE THEM MY CANCELED CARD NUMBER!! OTHERWISE THEY WOULD BE ROBBING ME LEFT AND RIGHT!!!!
VISION QUEST FITNESS IS A BUNCH OF SCAM F****!!! THEY MAY HAVE GIVEN ME $20/MONTH MEMBERSHIP, BUT IS IT REALLY WORTH THIS BULL S***?? I TOLD THEM, IF I GET ONE MORE CALL FROM THE ABC COMPANY THAT I WILL CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP FOR GOOD AND GO WITH ANOTHER GYM.
After checking with my gym and then cc on file expired, I updated my cc on file and multiple gyms or companies use the robocall reminders.
I guess that makes you the idiot!
ABC Financial a bill or renew reminder for a gym membership, this is a robocall. My credit card expired and this is a friendly reminder. I went to my gym and updated my cc on file. No scam no BS!
BOA credit cards are being sent to ABC financial... it may not have anything to do with a gym membership.
I have a beef but it's with BOA, not collector.
You guys are idiots!!!
It is ABC financial, No gyms use it! They are just saying that. If you were smart, you would just check with your gym directly, if you even have one. CASE CLOSED.
Haven't you noticed that the voicemails are automated?
Those of you that are calling them back, stop it.
That number called me twice so far today. I don't pick up 800 calls but i assumed it would be some thing like this.
Called twice today. Didn't answer the first call, so I answered the second. No one there.
This is ABC Financial regarding my Gold's Gym Membership. I had some fraudulent charges on my account and had to change my debit card, which autopaid my gym membership. They were calling to get my new card number since I missed my automatic payment on 1/17. They were very nice to me. Waived my late fee and were very understanding. Legitimate phone call.
Just called the number back again, they claimed to be the DISH network. I'd say it's a scam.
I just received a call from this number, it's a recording about my SWEAT membership, I don't have a SWEAT membership, called the number back that they gave me and it doesn't work. They have called several tiimes.
Call is from Eric Riley from ABC Financial. They're asking me to change my information on my account because my debit card is going to expire soon for my fitness membership. I go to Retro Fitness here in NJ. As of Jan 8th 2013 this number seems legit.
I've had regular calls from good old "Eric" for a month now, despite (1) I'm on the "do not call" lists (both national & for my state), and (2) I've never had a gym membership (I work out at home). I blew it all off for awhile, but finally got tired of it and reported the calls to the FCC. If enough people do the same, maybe these low-life's will get shut down...........at least temporarily.
All you have to do is go to the FCC's website & fill out their online form 1088. The URL is (yes, this is legit):
November 5th 2012....they are at it again .. Just got a call from that number and I have never had a gym membership.
Called and left a rude sounding message
I've received a call from these guys for the last three days straight but I am always working so I can't answer it and they never leave a voicemail. I don't go to any gyms so I don't know why they would call me but I'll have to try and answer it next time.
I received a call today from them. They asked for my older sister? I don't believe my sister even goes to a gym. I'm not too sure what this is all about...
This # 888-827-9262 keeps calling my cell phone!! I have a gym membership at Anytime Gym & my membership fee is paid every month & I'm current on my payments.
I believe ABC Finance is trying to get more info from me so they can use my credit card#. Trust no one! Talk to the manager at the gym & get it fix, I'm mad at the gym because my personal information was leak somewhere, I sign a private policy form but a lot good it did me since these people still call me!
Frustrated & I can't wait to hear the explanation from the gym manager!
It is a Scam! They are inquiry about your credit card info, Report them!
Tell them to not call you again and that you are documenting this request to remove you from their call list. If they do not comply, you will turn them over to your attorney and every time they call you in the future will be a fine of $1000 for harassment. Make sure to get their full name and time and date of the calls.
This information came from my attorney when bill collectors were calling my home after my mother had passed away. They were trying to "settle her bills with me to avoid collection". Seriously?!?! Who are they going to collect from? Some people are just so ridiculous. After I told the collectors this, they never called again.
I have never signed up for a gym. So why do they call me?
This number is for Retro Fitness, they called me cause I missed a payment
This company keeps calling telling me I owe money on my gym membership but I've spoken with the gym and they state I'm all payed up. This company is fraudulent and I wouldn't give them any information at all. Take it to your gym and if they state all is well report them to the BBB.
Calling my cell. It's a recorded message from ABC Financial talking about my gym membership...I don't have a membership and I JUST got this cell phone number 2 weeks ago! I tried calling the number back...again, it's all recordings and no one would pick up the phone.
Repeated phone calls to my cell phone about my fitness club membership. Called them back today because I was bored, pointed out that I have a heart condition that precludes strenuous exercise, and that, in any case, the most exercise I get is to walk from the couch to the fridge to get a beer. This is allegedly for Platinum Fitness in Tuscon, AZ. I have never been to the state of Arizona in my life - why would I go to a gym there? Told them to lose my number, which they said they would do if I verified my address for them. How stupid do they think I am?
Got a call from this number. I didn't pick up, so I was left a voicemail. The person said he was from ABC Financial and that my credit card was going to expire soon, so I could call back to update it with them in regards to my gym membership. My gym does use this company in order to manage incoming revenue from its members. I never called them back, instead I went to my gym to update my credit card. With all these phone frauds going on these days, it is best never to give any personal or financial information over the phone, even if it sounds legitimate.
I've gotten a couple of voicemails from Automated Eric about my gym membership billing information needing to updated. While I do have a gym membership, it's handled through my employer and they have nothing to do with ABC Financial. Scam.
