My mom received a call from this number and they claim they were looking for me for a fraudelent check. The person name who called was Melinda Foster or Forster. She left a case number and said this was my summons.. Who summons people by phone? It was crazy! I don't know what this call was about.

HAVE THEM REPORTED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND CONTACT YOUR PHONE COMPANY  TO FILE HARRASMENT CHARGES, AND TELL THEM U ARE DOING SO.
THEY WERE CALLING FOR MY SISTER, THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS, THAT CURSE, AND GIVE FALSE THREATS TO GET U TO PAY. MY SISTERS DEBT WAS PAID 5 YEARS AGO, AND THEY KEEP CALLING. BETTER YET, CALL CHANNEL 2...THEY WERE ON THE NEWS NOT LONG AGO AND BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE FEDERAL GOVT.

Received a call from a man trying to locate my son. I live in Washington, DC; he lives in California. Caller would not disclose purpose of call. Caller said he was told to call me and ask son to call this number. I told him I don't know my son's phone number but caller continues to call.  I've requested caller to stop caller, but he still calls. What can I do?

My sister received a call from this number (888-829-8236). Caller said he was reportedly told to call her trying to locate a family member for a claimant and provided this phone number and a case #.  Family has no idea who this is, why the caller called my sister, or what they want.
