Brad Fuller called and left message for Maureen Somebody (garbled). Calling from Bryant Hodge & Associates. Identifies company as a professional debt collection and asset recovery corporation calling "about a personal business matter."  Last week he called from (207) 512-5404, Augusta Maine.

They call from several phone numbers from all over the country. They leave no message. If I don't know the number I don't answer.

Brad Fuller called and left message for Michael Pauley or Hauley, couldn't tell from the automated voice that breaks in to give the intended name. Calling from Bryant Hodge & Associates. Leaves a long message regarding personal business legal representation for debt collection. I have no outstanding debt and am hesitant to call the supplied number thinking it may be an off-shore number that charges my phone with excessively high international rates per minute to my statement

I have no idea who this is. Because of the posts I am not even going to acknowledge it.

Multiple phone calls asking for someone I have no clue about nor have ever.  I have no credit problems. Don't want to call this number back he leaves because I am not sure what can of worms that might open.  Not sure how to stop it.  Guy's name is Brad Fuller, works for Bryant Hodges and Associates, asks for a Jessica Banks.

The collector can try to collect but only by filing an action against the debtor in court.  Calls mean crap and they can't do crap except for filing in court.  That is very difficult if this bottom-feeder agency bought the old debt for pennies on the dollar since they have to prove all of the facts in order to win - amount, original owner, proof of ownership of the debt, etc.  Chances are this debt, if the SOL has passed, has been passed around from agency to agency so the specifics may be difficult to ascertain.

Don't let the scum scare you into thinking otherwise.  Know your rights, and don't even bother to speak to them or their greasy selves will try to reinstate the SOL timeline with underhanded tricks.

Someone left me voicemail claiming to be Brad Fuller with Bryant Hodges (didn't catch the rest of the scumbag company's name). Said he was looking for Joseph <something> Jenkins. Not me.

The caller ID showed 888-854-4623.
He told me to call back 888-675-4485 and tell them the reference number he left in the voicemail.

Clearly a scam. Do these guys think people are as stupid as they are?

This number called me in what he said was in reference to a debt.  Actually, it is a case of stolen identity which has been reported to all the proper places, (Equifax, State of Texas, etc.)  The original debt was  unknown to me and was incurred about 10 years ago.  This is the third phone call I have had in reference to the supposed debt and this is the third company that has called.  To me it is obviously a fraud.

i have been receiving nasty and harrassing calls from Bryant Hodges and associates for over 3 years now threatning me with lawsuits. if I really owed what they say, I think i would have been sued by now

Do your homework chump. SOL doesn't mean you don't owe it and that they have no recourse.....

If you were to perhaps call them back and let them know that its not Guys number I'm positive that they would be happy to remove it...... Just sayin.

I consistently get calls from this number for a person I have never heard from. I have requested being removed from list. Today the person hung up on me when I said I was going to report the company. Anyone who gets calls from this number and it is not your name should report the company to the State Attorney General who is in charge of collection agencies, I am doing that tomorrow

They do have different numbers. And they are who you say they are. I had a credit card from like 15 years ago.
And now these scum bags are trying to collect. They can kiss my azz. Statute of limitations has run out.

The person they were calling for was not me, so they said they would remove my number from their information. We'll see. I blocked their number anyway, just in case.

Bryant Hodges & Associates - I don't answer toll free calls like this, but they did for a change, leave a message was left about a debt.  The message did state a name, Guy somthing, and to call a number if that person was not at this number.   I'm not calling them back - - I owe no debts that I know of, and I don't know a 'Guy', so they can keep talking to my machine.  FYI - - they called once before, but it was under a different phone number - - they must have multiple numbers.
