This number is from Contact Resource Services (?Legal dept.  It is a collection agency who buys debts from other agencies.

I just got a call from 18778818088 asking if my name was Denise mercier Roy because they had mail for me, I do have one of those names..I checked online right away, and guess what  SCAM.........

I got a call today, the number showing is area code 902 which is Nova Scotia, Canada. They did leave the 18778818088 # to call back. They said they had a priority 1 package for "paul" and my exact last name (except my name is patricia not paul, and there's no paul in this house). I called back and after 10 mins on hold i hang up.

Received call. A women asked if my father was home. Out of habit, I said no because I believed it was a telemarketer. The way she spoke acts as if she already knew who he was, so I asked her who she was. She said she was from Priority 1 mail and she has "sent a package intended for my father to the wrong address twice now".

She asked if she could confirm the address. I said sure. She said "Ok the address I have is 1250 Bloor St. (an address in the Toronto area)". I said "oh well it looks like you have the wrong guy" since my father has never worked nor lived there. She responded "well why don't you give me the right address where you live now?".

At this point I figured it was a marketing company trying to complete their phone number and mailing lists so I denied the information. She then asked for his cell phone. Then she asked if I would know the last three digits of his SIN number (Social Identification Number - this is the number the government uses to identify individuals in the Canada). Right then I knew she was trying to steal my father's "identity". She said that right now she has "687" on the file and asked "is this correct". I quickly debated whether to tell her off for being such a disgusting person or try to get her contact information.

Then she asked "you do live with your father (I am 27 and my fiance and I are living there until we can afford our own home, so I think she was confused by the depth of my voice). I responded "I might live with him". She said "you might?". I told her that I couldn't confirm any of this information but I would be more then happy to pass the number to my father and have him call her back. She said "well why don't you give me his cell phone and I will call him?". I said no just give me your number....

Passed the information on to my father who then immediately reported the number and incident to the police.

Fiance confirmed that individual had called two weeks prior and asked for father. Fiance said that father was not around. Women on phone said that she had sent a package to 1250 Bloor St. but it was returned. Women did not ask for any information from Fiance but left the Priority 1 Mail phone number.

This is definitely not a collection company as one user reported.

My 1st email stated;

This is true but my intention was to work with good Police and Political embodiments as they are with us on this issue.

I meant a COLLECTIVE force cannot be matched by these dark underground operators who possess nothing but a very poor crooked childhood.
These people would as much sell their brothers ans sisters for a cheap coin, but resulting in a lost soul in a very dark world of no return.

No one needs this type of mentors in life.
They are not to be respected for their caring, understanding, generosity and knowledge but to be locked up to protect them from their own controlling demons. It would be a safer place for them, trust me!

Received call last night.

Thee CALLERS wanted us to respond quickly to some identity verification questions to receive a Priority Post 1 shipment supposedly intended for us.

Personal Questions concerning Social Insurance Number -last 3 digits.

#'s were 877-888-8088, 855-8808 along with a T'and 6 digits' Tracking Number to respond to.
They are quite insistent and will call back more than once in a day so inform all elderly and younger ones in family to say nothing.

ASK ONLY FOR THEIR COMPANY NAME and do a *69 Bell Telephone trace to that number.
EVERYONE should immediately call Local Police and place a complaint.
If they receive enough phone calls they will put on higher priority.

IN ANY EVENT DO NOT GIVE THEM EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF INFORMATION.
THEY HIT YOU WITH FAST QUESTIONS RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING SO BY CHANCE WHEN YOU ARE OFF GUARD YOU MAY ANSWER ANY OF YOUR TRACEABLE ANSWERS.

Examples of actual questions askjed to us below;

Eg. 1st Question:
   What are last 3 digits of your Social Insurance Number.?
   To receive the Priority Post mail package someone just might by accident
   answer that question.
   DON'T answer this as it is a traceable amount of information.
   It narrows down their computer search in order to steal your identity
   and much more, like finances.

   2nd Question:
   Just need to confirm your address.?  
   They willfully spell out the wrong address for you to confirm.
   If you say thats not my address they require correct one and ask for you
   to correct it .

The last 3 digits of your SIN number along with your current address and their computer search is made quite easy by linking the 2 bits of information together they narrow down the search.

University computers and just plain powerful home computers can preform program searches for specific information which could do great harm to people.

Inform you local Members of Parliament about these (RANDOM constantly changes numbers every few days ) foreign calls from different countries every week.

This is an International organization that is hard to Track. But they can be stopped if everyone in the World affected just writes to their local Members of Parliament and Interpol about your concerns.

This number called saying they were with Priority Mail and gave a callback number of 1-877-881-8088 and a tracking number that matches no known postal tracking number formats. They were closed when I called, but their autoattendant identified them as Contact Resource Services.

This is a collection agency saying they are with Priority Mail and they are double checking addresses so they can find people they have on their debtors list.  don't answer and if you do inform them the illegal nature of mascarading as a mail company.

Glad I found this site!They called me twice now but I didnt get to answer.But if its toll free, then I might call them back...
