I get calls from this number several times a week, always in the morning between 8:00-9:30 CST. Every time I answer, it's silence. It drives me nuts! I would like the calls to stop!

I also get these calls several times a week, always between 8-9 MST. Usually there's silence, but once a recorded message directed me to another 800#, stating it was a law firm, and I was given a reference #. I didn't start gettng these calls until the day after I went mobile on my Yahoo I.M.

Have been getting a call from this number on my cell fairly often and was just ignoring it since I'd read about it here.

But, I eventually got fed up and figured I'd call back and let 'em a piece of my mind...such as it is.  :-)

Anyway, when they answered I said that I got a call from this number on my cell and they asked for my cell number.  Gave it to them and they ask if my name was something or other, but it wasn't me, which I mentioned and she simply said, "Okay, we take your number off the list."

It was quite simple, but time will tell if it actually worked or not.

Send them a letter telling them not to contact you anymore.  You have the right under Federal law to do this.  If they contact you after they get the letter, file a complaint with your state and with the FTC.

Latest of several callers trying to reach someone else.  Before I can get who they are, they determine that I'm not the person they're looking for and hang up.  The caller gave me a name quickly but before I could ask for a clarification, she hung up.

They called my parents house stating that it was urgent to talk to me and when I recieved the confirmation # and phone number, I then called back and they didnt answer I then called the shopko offices where they claimed to have been representing and they had no record of anything. So I really am wondering what the deal is here and how I can be removed from their unwanted phone calls1

I have been getting calls from this law firm for quite a few months now.  Today I was finally fed up enough to write down the phone number and file number they gave and called them back.  Turns out they were looking for the person who used to live at my address (and I have lived here for a year) and has never even had the phone number!  They told me they would take my number off the list.
I have had a couple of other bill collectors call looking for the same people who have lived here but never had the number, turns out some bill collectors are resorting to googling the last known address to find a phone number to call.  If the people have moved they will get the phone number of whoever lives there now, that's why so many people get debt collecting calls for people they have never heard of.

this number calls me every day at 8 08 AM and i am ALWAYS asleep and i am getting very anoyed with them. it is SOOOO annoying. i dont want to call back.. just in case it does something i dont need. it is really making me mad and i just want it to STOP. any ideas who it is? and how to stop it?

I have been receiving calls from these pests for two years and I too do not call back unsolicited calls from 800 numbers- especially from law firms leaving automated calls that they are there to "help" me.  Just found this website today and was able to reach these pests.  In fact they are looking for someone I never heard of- and said they would remove me from the list.  Hope this works!

This Outfit has been calling me at work repeatedly.  It is Bennett & DeLony, 1265 E. Fort Union Blvd, Suite 150, Salt Lake City, UT 84047.  They are a collection agency.  This one is not known for following the law.

They claim I purchased a product from a company that I never heard. I have contacted them several times and requested a copy of an original invoice from that company and proof of delivery of what I'm supposed to have purchased.  Each time they state they are not able to give me that information. They then ask me if I would like to make a payment, again I tell them I will only make a payment if they can produce a copy of an invoice and show proof of delivery, and each time that say "So you're refusing to pay."  Each time I reply, "I will not make a payment to a company of which I have never heard to some random caller without some proof of purchase."

After speaking with the WV Attorney Generals office they advised me that Bennett & DeLony is required by law to provide copies of the original invoice.  

I also informed the WVAG's office that the address they were giving me from the invoices was not my address, but my work address. The WVAG's office said it sounds like they were surfing the internet looking for names that matched some debtor on record.  They then start going after that person to pay even if it is the wrong person.  Many people will pay even though it is not them.  The WVAG's office suggested I file a formal complaint with their office.  I have filed that complaint.

We too have  been getting numerous calls a day with the same message from
Bennett DeLoney & Noyes --- saying this is not a telemarketers call...this is a important business.... telling me a file number... this is so annoying -- they even call on Christmas morning! They are still calling but we also do not return calls to unknown numbers. If it is so important why haven't we received anything in the email about "the important matter". We need it to stop!

This number is a pest--and I feel it is scammers!  They call three times a day and say it is a Personal matter!  HA!

These poeople are constantly calling my .I wish they just leave me alone

Today is the second time I received a call from this number...saying this is not a telemarketers call..this is a important bussiness.. telling me a file number ...when I called back computer told me my call would be transferred to any available agent. I hung up..this is so annoying.The recording was saying this is some kind of a Law firm...I don't have any outstanding bill....is ther a way to stop this ?

I just received a f****ng phone call from this number today at like 5:24 in the evening.....i dont kno who it is...when i answer no one talks...it dead silent!!!! does any1 kno who this is cause it is really stupid to call some1 and then be dead silent on the phone!!!????

I keep getting these calls at home and they say I have a file #.  I have called them back and left a message for them to quit calling.   I don't owe anyone any money.

I get calls almost daily from this number, with the same problem as others are obviously having, no voice or recording, just silence and then disconnection. I'm not behind on bills either and was wondering if whoever this is has my relatively new cell number listed as another person's number. Terribly annoying, especially while at work. Any ideas on how to make this stop? Anyone?

Got a call today from Mary Jones to callback on 800-815-1177 x2560.  With the digging I have done, I will not call them back.  How can we get them to stop?

I got a call from this number again this morning at 8:57 am CST. Silent, as usual! I do not have any bills that are behind or submitted to collections, so there should not be any collection agencies calling me! I really want these calls to stop!

These calls just started coming in to me on almost a daily basis to my cell phone but there's never anyone there when I answer and the line disconnects.  I'm not doing any call back on an 888 number for fear of getting scammed and slammed for some kind of charge.  
As far as the bill collector theory, there's none that I'm behind on.

every morning about 8:45 i get a call from this #, there is never any one there when i answer the phone, but thats when i wake up also so it makes for a good wake up call in the mornings now. How do i get them to stop calling
