Left a message on my employer's phone about First Regional Bank credit card holders having their accounts compromised. Part of the "recorded" message said if you feel you received this call in error press "0" - did so, the line went dead.

Computer voice message left on company voice mail on Sunday 3/29/09 at 5:56PM PDT. Message same as 'WhiteEagle' stated. Called First Regional Bank in Los Angeles and informed the fraud department about the message.

The following is most of what the message said. Initiated by First Regional Bank, addressed to members only. Due to increasing number of scam e-mails and fraud attempts," message then garbled", we have placed security alerts on sensitive account information. We need to run a brief verify process to assure you?re in possession of your credit card and your account with FRB has not been compromised. This is a simple process usually taking less than 3 minutes.  Call is 888 892-1823.
Make sure you provide accurate information during this process so we can verify your account information with us. Failing to run this verification process could result in account suspension or penalties.
