I received a call last night from supposedly an attorney from 855-319-9729.  He said I owe First Bank of Delaware $1123.40 that has turned into $1954.60 and with court costs it will eventually be $3454.60.  I do not remember ever borrowing money from this place but if I did it sure was not that much money.  They have told me there are papers at the sheriff's office to be served on me for court.  I happen to know the sheriff personally and am going to find out today if he has papers that are to be served on me and if he does, I am going to tell him to throw them in the garbage that they are from scam artists and I am going to quit worrying about this.  I was really upset last night and could not sleep and it is not going any further. These people are really stupid and need to stop doing stuff like this to people.  I am on disability and this happened about the time of my accident that caused me to become disabled and I sure do not have the ability to pay this amount and I am not going to pay it.

I have been getting these same calls and I did apply for a pay day loan that I was denied due to the fact that I don't have direct deposit with my paycheck someone supposedly still put the money in and took it out of course I am the SS # on the bank account anyway I finally spoke with someone who admitted that they felt sorry for me that I was the one left holding the bill and I told them I would rather clean my credit and pay 4 monthly payments on the second payment I lost my prepaid debt card and called them to ask them not to take the money and to contact me for the change in billing info they are now telling me with every call that this is my last call and that they are looking to summons me I called back and stated here is my address come find me the next call I got was "this is an attorney's office you left a very rude unhappy message on our voicemail and I am not sure what you are calling in reference to" even though I left the "docket" number and ALL my information and again all I get is this is the finally warning we are making decisions without your input--hello finalize it then I got into a bad way already have a wage garnishment and numerous ones waiting they too can wait their turn to take my paycheck--good luck a** wipes

So, you finally got a real job since you are an xbillcollector? These companies are buying personal information from so called "brokers" and trying to scare us into paying for bogus debt (case against us, deliver court paperwork and all b***s***). I have court dates set to bring them in and I'll be the one collecting $1000 from each of them, plus attorney's fees!

as an xbillcollector all I have to say is that it is you debtors who are the scum bags! if you can't afford  it, don't get it! quit "borrowing" money you don't have, quit living beyond your means and blaming everyone else!

These people are calling asking for someone that is not at this number. I tell them they need to stop calling and they get upset and yell change your number or get use to it. Have a nice day. They are scammers as first of all they will not listen and keep calling and of course trying to find someone to scare. Ha ha ha . They will get theirs one day. God is watching them. You do bad to others and bad will happen to you. Ignore this scam artist junk. Another number they call from is: 888-296-0714. I am sure it is out of a house and they will get caught. The attorney generals office has several complaints regarding these people and the BBB. Give them the number to the attorney generals office to call for who ever they are asking for. They get mad then as they know that number. It is a redflag to them so they do not get caught. They will get caught.

These people are low life criminal debt collectors. Owing money, or defaulting on any loan is not criminal, does not involve law enforcement. Only civil process can take place. Don't fall for this scheme. Block the call, ignore them. They are idiots.

They just now called me from 206-219-4305 with the message that they have been trying to reach me and to press 1 or call back to the 888 number.  I did neither, but went to Google to research it instead. Thanks for all the information.

These people have been calling me for about 3 years, always using a different name.  The messages left often have such a heavy accent that you cannot understand them.  I told them to come to my work with all paperwork I would be waiting.  Noone came (not a big surprise) next phone call came I answered asked where they were I was waiting, the response was they were busy but would be there the next day, I said I would be waiting with the loal law enforcement.  NO ONE EVER CAME.  DO NOT LET THEM SCARE YOU, DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY.  They called my corporate offices of work saying that I used my work name and address as my own and now would not pay a  debt.  My human resources person said she would  not give out any personal information but would let me know they called.  Especially funny is DAVE when he calls we recorded his message and play it back for a good laugh.  DO NOT TAKE THEM SERISOULY TREAT IT AS THE JOKE IT IS.    They will eventually stop calling, but will continue in a few months from a different number since each one gets shout down after too many complaints.

We've gotten several calls from this number. This time, it was a Miss Bell, supposedly working for Attorney Parkin (although she slurs the names, so it's hard to understand.)  She asks for our adult daughter, who hasn't lived at home for a decade or more.  Needs to confirm her social security number, attached to a [unintelligible] case.  Must call today. She gave a file number, and this 888 phone number to call back.  Obviously a scam.

These people are relentless.  They call  (computer generated) daily, home and work which I know is against the law and considered harrassment.  Called and requested proof of said debt. They gave vague answers. Had  attorney call them.  Very confrontational with her. Got their fax. Sent them a letter to cease and desist, fax number not legitimate.  Travis and Courtney were the names my attorney spoke with.  Sound familiar?

This number and about 4 others that are different are calling me and saying there's a legal issue and since I've ignored their calls they will proceed with further action.  They do not tell me the company name when they leave a message so is there any way I can report them?

i was called at work over and over by a Galaxy capital company they tried to say that my wage will be garnish they are a scam and tried to get me to pay with a debit card. come on. they are scammers.

Keep getting calls from this number (20 in 5 days) telling me there is a legal matter they need to talk to me about. when I dial the number back and press "1" as they say I either get a busy signal or they hang up. I was home one day and answered the phone, listened to the recording and then pressed one. They immediately hung up.

My sister in law received a few calls from them looking for me. I have had the same phone number for years, and have NOT gotten a call from them.  She said that they were very rude, and nasty on the phone.  I know that I had some credit issues in the past, but have worked hard to clean up my credit.  I went so far as to run my credit report, only to find that I do not have any outstanding loans or debt owed to this "company."  This is a scam and they use scare tactics such as the words, "lawyer, negative judgement against you" and other "legal terms."  I called back the number and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.  I am filing a report with the BBB as well.  This is a SCAM and they prey on people who have worked hard to rebuild their credit.  They even sink so low as to try calling family members.

I too keep geting the same call. It originates from 786-350-3252 and also asked to call 888-907-6719. The call constantly. Even on weekends, including Sunday. What Company calls you on SUNDAY if they were legit?? STOP CALLING ME!!

I get calls everyday about the same time 11:30 am and it i just a message for a recording. I called back and spoke to a samson smith. he stated that we have all day to go back and forth because he did not want me to give him my information? I told him that I do not give out information and that first they could tell me where they are located and he said that he did not want to tell me. he also stated are you coming odwn here or something to that effect and there was a weird ring tone in the background that did not sound like an office. I asked to speak to someone like a supervisor. he called me stupid and that i did not know what i was talking about. I said they you are breaking some laws of FDCPA and he hung up? So I think it is a scam. I was told that you have rights before you pay anything and he was so nasty and did not want to say where they were located.. BE ware of this phone number 888 907 6719.. His name was Samson Smith..

I get a phone call from 760-273-8079 everydayt and it's a recording indicating my first name with one recorded person and my last name with another recorded person with a message to call back 877-333-7033 and another message to call back 888-907-6719, I took out a pay day loan years ago and it's been repaid for many years. Yes I agree with all of you they are a scam and using scare tactics. I am getting tired of them calling, I will just block their number from my call list.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a mess these ppl would call my phone for my husband saying he need to sign some papers, but my husband wouldn't call them cause he knew something was wrong. so today when they call this 760-273-8079 would pop up the so they left a message saying call 888-907-6719 ext 1, or it would be another number 877-333-7033....i call them back at the 888-907-6719 number telling them my husband is out on of town what's going on this man james morgan said i can tell u the problem but i need you to call me back with the last four number of your husband s.s. i was like RED FLAG never heard of that, my thing is if you are calling for someone you should have there s.s. anyway i wasn't going to do that no telling what they would have done. how do i stop this....these ppl done call everyone on here trying to scam this is sad..

I keep getting calls from ESP about a 2006 Payday loan from Cashnet.com...I KNOW this loan was paid before we left Arizona but with so many moves I have no proof. I contacted Cashnet online and they referred me to their "third party collector" named Collins. I looked up the phone # and found numerous blogs just like this one. The Cashnet person did say that our accnt was in default but could not give me an amount nor produce the contract I guess since it was done online. (my husband did all of this and doesn't remember details) So I had ESP send me "proof"...ya, I got a generic letter with an amount of $901.50.
Original creditor, Cahsnetusa, current creditor MLA (Mkenna Long & Aldridge?), and Servicer is ESP.
The letter is signed Jennifer Bell, but I just got a message from a Jennifer House...
I looked up the SOL for the state of AZ and for my current state...AZ is 6yrs and my current state is 3yrs.  So in theory...they only have until the 16th of this month to "legally" try and collect this debt right? No, I am not trying to scam out of paying but with no contract or definitive proof and it not showing up on his credit report I am skeptical.
