who does this telephone number belong too. They use false information trying to get people mailing address. They tell people that they have a package from them.

I would like this to stop. Will not tell you the company name.

Thanks all for your post. I too have recently received a call from this number. I did Not answer though. I screen my calls and if they don't leave a message they are phonies and unimportant.

I've been receiving calls from this and other numbers, all claiming that I am 1200$ past due in payments for an online family doctor. I don't remember signing up. They also claim I got some kind of beginner package from them, and claim that it was sent to my address, but I never received a package of any kind. They have been calling me for more than six months. If it were a real business, I would think they would have taken legal action before too long, especially for a debt in excess of $1000.

Club also; Jan 2012.  Before 30 days - I attempted to cancle during 'trial period' also.  I closed the credit card account.  BEFORE the new replacement card was issued - another charge appeared on THE NEW ACCOUNT for $50.00 ! ( I did NOT have the {new} replacement card in my possesion); on the date the NEWEST charge~ for "Idenity Protection Plus"  that cost was to be a payment of $50.00 for 1 full year ($600.00 ) ! Then no charge for the next 4 years... This is an IDENITY THEIF protection for One Million Dollar's of; against Fraudulent Activity of my credit.  [ This is what I've been told, anyway!]  i have been contacted by 3 or more very agressive and determined people whom each are DEMANDING I give them $1,800.00 or MORE by giving them my (another) credit card #.  Because I CLOSED the account that was originally compromised!   They are threathening to turn me over to collections and take me to court!  I've been told by each person that they have a RECORDING of my conversation; agreeing to these items.  I found out today - THEY ARE SISTER COMPANIES!  Beware!!! Should ANYONE know HOW TO STOP THEIR HARRASSING PHONE CALLS, I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE - I do NOT want any false information on my credit history; until present, it has always been good! Thanks in advance for any help.  Since I've been typing this - they have called 4 times! (I was 'given' 1 hour) to decide how I was going to handle this debt.  I had previously blocked this # - However, I answered this call  'before' I noticed it was from 888-918-6647.

Smart Shoppers Savings Club is the discount savingsclub.com (scamming) they have been calling harassing me saying I owe them almost 2,000 dollars when I cancel them before I receive anything,  in March 14th 2012 and only19.95 was suppose to be take out each month if i stayed,  I cancel them within the so call trial period, I put a stop to the bank card when my bank card had unauthorized debits taken out, my bank alerted me and we immediate closed that card out before more was taken . They are saying they are  sending it to collections if I don?t pay them and i better give them my credit card information, how does it add up to that amount anyway, I have them on tape, one of the managers Mark M collections refuse to give me information to this company, saying I didn?t cancel and the only way to cancel is pay them.  I am going to take legal action against them. Anyone has any information please let me know quickly please.
