Same with me with blue spruce energy he went through the same spiel and the sounded good even looked them up in the website. Guy wasn't rude so I signed since I have a 60 day cancelation but in  the fine lines I noticed afterwards a .33 cent per day charge for utility transportation fee and I'm not feeling comfortable with that hidden charge that was cleverly mischievously not mention. Had anyone seen this charge on other contracts? And what about those satisfied comments..are you aware of the charge and does it show on your bill? Is this a scam even though I read this 3rd party provider is legit in the BBB?

A gentleman came to my door saying he is with pge n he wanted to offer lower gas rates as well as weatherization... ask to see my bill n said all he needed was a signature to get me started...I was like ok yea tht would be great but after signing the contract , He refused a business card as well as a contract stating pge would have a copy of the contract, he had no badge.. I'm not happy with this company as it made my bill 40 more a month.. I have tried to call to speak to a supervisor numerous times n was told they weren't available I've also requested a call back n not yet to receive that neither. I did call pge n switch my gas back but now I'm still getting billed.. This is such a SCAM.... they continue to go in and around my neighborhood  my friends n other ppeople say there been calls n door to door with this stating there pge.. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS BLUE SPRUCE SCAMMERS

I can tell you're a shill because of the way you post:
1. Short lines instead of straight across (i.e. run-on sentences),
2. Capitalization where it doesn't belong,
3. NO punctuation,
4. The fact you consistently forget to capitalize names of businesses and misspelled 'you're'.

Not much any more, but if I told you the number of times "Energy flippers" have knocked on my door. One of my favorites was the time some guy said he was from company "x", I need to see your bill to make sure you're getting your saving that you're owed. The problem? He had a baseball cap on with the name of ANOTHER company. The real big problem with these scams is they lock you into contracts. Cheap for 90 days, arm+leg for years. They're glad to give you 10%, as they later pump the blood out of you. Plus (and I feel bad for seniors) what you have to go through to be switched back to your original company.

I have a hard time believing that you served in the Corp as you would have seen that word every day.  Even if you failed spelling in grade school and only learned to grunt, there are four words that you would inevitably would be able to spell -- Semper Fi Marine CORP... You are obviously a salesman trying to pull one over.  Nice try.

this guy is just an out of work petitioner (you know those stupid a***oles that stand around in front of stores asking people to sign a ballot initiative for one buck per signature?) Petitioners have started marketing energy because they have found a new way to scam people. Check this out: http://fox40.com/2013/09/11/anti-arena-signat ... d-misdirection/ Hell, this idiot is probably working for the same gaggle of goons.  Don't give them your sensitive information folks. These guys employ dangerous felons who can't be trusted with private personal data. That's why they ask for your account number and then hang up when you refuse to give it. Or worse.  Look at the idiot language this shill is displaying. They can't find honest work because they are nothing but goons.

I'm glad you called. I also signed up for Blue Spruce and was wondering if they were legit, was beginning to have second thoughts, but thanks to your post, and your research, I feel better about my decision. Thank you.

You can call me that.....and don't get me wrong. I'm not slamming you being  in the Marines. Only pointing out that it doesn't necessarily make you immune to telling whoppers. Trust me, I've heard my share of BS from plenty of sailors.

Now, that said.........Tamianth's link has very interesting information about what PG&E has to say about the ones on the street . Turns out they are scammers. So........either you've been scammed or you are here shilling for them. If you're not shilling for them, then I suggest you promptly report it to PG&E.

Big whoop. My husband's a Navy veteran, so guess what, buttercup.....that doesn't lend you ANY credibility with me. Being a Marine doesn't make you immune to spreading bull manure.

How about you prove it ISN'T a scam ? After all, you made the claim, not I.

After some skepticism I've discovered this to be a legit company. They are a natural gas supplier. I was contacted by them to switch my supplier and decided to try it out. They have actually saved me money on my pg&e bill. Do your homework people!

yeah calling people idiots doesn't help much though. But someone came to my door. Explained every thing, they are a company that sells gas to PG&E for way cheaper than they get it themselves. The only thing they ask you is permission to sell the gas to PG&E to deliver to you, they become the supplier and  PG&E remains your provider. Just shows up on the PG&E bill
