Hello. As you can see from the others posting here that many have the telemarketing Charter problem that you do. I have had Charter since early November so they can call me as a current customer. Their service is ok but not great. I have to do fixes to my internet and TV on a regular basis. That was never the case when I had Earthlink and TWC in Ohio. I did want to point out a couple of things just as an FYI. The Do Not Call List is a joke. It absolutely does not work. You can go to any site like this one and you will find that EVERYONE is on the list with the same issues. There is another way you can avoid these people if you are willing to invest about $50. I did and the silence is deafening. I was especially vulnerable as a new homeowner. They comb Real Estate sales lists. Or tax records. Which must be readily available. I was getting 10-20 of these annoying calls a day. There is a product you can find on eBay, Amazon and others (I am sure) that is called "Pro Call Blocker". And NO, I do not work for them. It is easy to set up, and update, and you can block up to 1500 calls. Mine actually came from Sears. About $50 and change. Also, you should find your cell phone and land line both have Call Blocker features. Search the Menu. Select Call Block or Block Calls.  You can find it that way. My plain jane cell 'phone could block 10 numbers and my landline could block 20. Yours may vary. But, the real deal is the Pro Call Blocker. 1500 should surely hold me for awhile. And, they do have customer support. A little slow to respond but very thorough. In my experience. If you read their directions you may not need support. My bad. Good luck. Tom

We quit Charter two months ago.  Not only did they NOT disconnect us when we phoned them to tell them we'd chosen another service, but now they are pestering us with these calls--three times in one day.  Shame on 'em.

I had Charter for a year they were the only company in the town where we lived and now we moved where they have no service.  I paid my final bill and continue to get these calls several everyday saying they want me back and let us try to help you.  blah blah blah.  There is no Charter service where I moved they will not stop calling.  It is so annoying I put them on my do not call list and they still are calling my cell phone, guess that's good for nothing too!  Very frustrated I was a good customer to Charter and now I would not recommend then to any one they have been a huge nuisance in my life the past month!  I work mid night shift and they call all day long had to leave my phone out of the bedroom hope nothing serious happens all because of this a** of a company

I recently moved, so I turned off my Charter and turned it back pn. They called and asked if that's what happened. I said yes. They asked if I had cable and internet. I said just internet, and they thanked me and hung up. Some kind of survey from their marketing team? No idea.

Been called 6 times in the last two days by this number. I had charter and ended my service not long ago, so maybe they're calling in regards to that. But I AM NOT ANSWERING and they won't STOP CALLING. Starting to get extremely irritated.

Yeah so of course I have the same problem that everyone else does with charter. Charter Communications is very unprofessional, nothing is good about them. I am NOT a customer of them anymore. unfortunately now I have no cable service at all. because where I live nothing else is available.

I left Charter 6 years ago. I was being charged $300 a month for Digital cable, internet, and phone. They said that is what they charge when I confronted them. I use Direct TV now. less than $100 bucks, more channels, better service.  
And Charter still calls me all the time to come back. I keep telling the "HELL NO".

Charter sucks.

I called the number back.  It IS Charter Communications. I told them I receive 3-5 calls a day from them.

I told them I do not have their services and for them to remove my cell from their phone list. They person from Charter said it would take 20 days to remove. I told him I was recording this call, and in 20 days, if I receive one more call from Charter, they will be reported to the Do Not Call List and the Better Business Bureau and will be fined, heavily.

He said he will make sure my number is removed. If by May 13th I receive 1 more call from this number or any other from Charter, I will file a claim on them. This is a pain in the neck!

Same experience as JD above. I cancelled and now I am getting calls. If they were this responsive when I had their service, I may have kept it.  I guess you need to cancel to get Charter's attention.

I cancelled my Charter cable TV about three weeks ago and have been getting numerous calls since. Twice I called the 888 number back and they answered as Charter asking me to hold to talk with a rep. After about 15 minutes both times I gave up.Today April 9, I received Calls from this number at 1:34 pm,  3:27 pm,
5:28 pm. and 7:47 pm.
If I can find the e-mail address for Charter Corp I'm sending them a hot letter.

I get calls at all times of the day and evening from CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.  Before I quit them, I was adamant about not ever getting marketing calls.  As I gave my HD non working cable box back to them I informed them to not call me again.  I had already been getting illegal calls from them while I was still a customer.  I am tired of getting these calls.

THIS IS HARASSMENT.  I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH SCUM LIKE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!

I quit service with Charter in January 2013.  they were the only game in town for over 10 years for internet and TV.  
Let's just say Charter never did me any favours and their Technicians are the most arrogant obnoxious idiots(Morons), I have ever dealt with.  I am certified in NET+ and Microsoft Server.  They still argued with me and one came out and took the ground off of a 10 ft copper ground rod buried in my foundation and added a wire and a little clip onto my Electrical Service Box.  I told him that was a substandard ground and he told me off and said to not tell him what to do.  I told him, get off my property and he took a swing at me.

I called Charter and complained and they NEVER DID A DARN THING ABOUT IT.  The Sheriff?s Office wouldn't even come out because he did leave.  He didn't make contact.  

Long, Long story cut short.  They keep calling using a robo caller telling me my cable company is trying to get in touch with me.
Doesn't anyone understand that us old folks don't like a recorded caller to tell me what to do, especially from a lousy internet service provider like Charter?

I SUGGEST IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER OPTION FOR INTERNET OR TV, TO DUMP CHARTER IMMEDIATELY.

I am not sure who this is, but they have called 6 times in the past two days! Earlier in the month they would call every hour for a few days in a row!! They never leave a message, and when I try to answer, they hang up. So stinking irritating since I am on the DNC list!!

888-963-8478 has called me multiple times EVERY DAY! for weeks now.  Ignoring the call is becoming a burden.  I just entered my number on the national DO NOT CALL list, but I can not believe how pursistant this number is, they literally call me 3-4-5 times day!  Even back to back calls.  I have yet to answer the phone and will now have to hold out for another 30 days before I can file a complaint with the do-not call registry.  If this is Charter I am very surprised- I have charter service currently and this would make me want to change ASAP!

charter communications.  I answered and they asked for MY name?  I said YOU called me.....I asked what this was in regards to, and they said they were charter communications, I said that I never had an account with you please take me off your call list.  They said they couldn't without a name, and I said I just moved to this state with a new cell number, you have the wrong contact info.  They refused to take me off their list if I didn't give them my name and phone number.  I said,YOU CALLED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
