Repeatedly call at varying time of day and evening.  Attempted answering twice.  No response when I answered.

It is, in fact, Comcast. i called back and spoke with someone who told me they are calling with promotional offers. i dialed 1 and everything. so if its a scam, its a sophisticated scam. lol.
i politely refused the offer and now will not receive anymore calls.

Comcast, Wisconsin office, trying to give me new service and save me money.  They do not take no for an answer.  They have called 4 times in the last 2 weeks.

Repeated phone calls from 888-984-4072.  No answer, no message.

I had the same experience as Carol.   Oddly, he knew my service plan etc.   I refused to give any further info and said I'm calling Comcast myself.   I just called and they don't have any knowledge of that number in their directory.

888-984-4072 called my home today.  I did not answer - - but as usual I know now that it is one of those unwanted calls.  I am on the NO CALL list!

Phone call from this number.  Sounds like someone may be there however, will not answer me!  I told whoever was on the other end to never call me at this number again.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number.  Got a call today. Guy asked for me by name. I kept asking what he wanted, he said he couldn't continue unless he could verify it was me. He asked if it was Mrs., I said no. I kept asking what he wanted.  He finally said he was calling from Comcast to offer a better price probably than I was paying now.  When he asked me how much I was paying now, I told him that if he was with Comcast, they already had the records. He said they were only sales, so he didn't have my records.  Yeah, right. I told him to send me the info in the mail. He said he couldn't - it was a phone offer only.  Sounds like a lot of BS to me.

I've answered many times just to see who it is.  Even after I say "hello," the phone disconnects.  Have answered it a few times with the same result.  If it's a SCAM, it's ineffective because they have no sales pitch or message.

Same as everyone else - repeated calls to my cell phone, does not leave message.  I answered once, however a long silence and they immediately hung up.

Received call to cell phone from this number.  No message left.  I have strong feelings it's from a scam.  Annoying but nothing I can do.  I hope a state attorneys office can prosecute them!  (Any of 50 states)
