got a missed call from this company, after i called back i spoke with Joe Long who, to tell you the truth, gave me the best Telemarketing experience ever! He helped me stay compliant with all my safety material needed. Yes i do know that the Labor Law Posters are free but why spend hour on end searching through the OSHA website (which is like trying to learn physics in 5 minutes hard) its a service and its a very helpful service for anyone who is constantly on the go. THANK YOU JOE LONG!

I really don't think leaving a message in a "stern voice" is illegal. LOL

I don't like it either, but it isn't really a scam, but a low-down dirty trick to try to fool you into thinking you have to buy from them.

Sad, very sad. I figure it like this. This scumbag outfit puts an ad in the paper promising big money for part-time work. Poor desperate people take these jobs and end up using their real name when the computer connects them. Gives it an air of legitimacy and really is it not? Lots of people overpay for stuff every day. Nothing wrong with offering a poster for $100+, just a shame to market it in this manner. It does make me think though, Why bother to work for a living when anybody could do this same thing! Pretty soon we are all going to be scammers. This continuous abuse of my ph line is going to spell the end of my business, I just don't have time to grab the ph every 15 mins to just get hung up on. So annoying and you know if the feds wanted they could pressure the ph companies to allow us to block these calls. It's all about the money and I'd bet that these companies cut in the pols for their share with bribes...erm I mean "campaign contributions."

So gripe all you want, sign up for the no call list. Won't make a damned bit of difference. You morons just keep re-electing incumbents and nothing will change.

Just received a call from them trying to sell the posters. Asked for references to make sure they're legit. They said they will place an invoice for $114. I said they're fine to send it but will do a full background check, research and will report to the BBB if it's apparent they're a scam. The male rep states to find another way to get the posters and hangs up! BIG SCAM!!!!

Called back and just stated that I was "calling back" and the guy said that he was calling about updating my posters.  I told him they were updated and he thanked me for letting him know.

The fellow calling left a nice enough message, but it was about updated labor posters that can be obtained without paying a firm like this.

This company gives the impression that you NEED to purchase their required FED AND STATE Labor requirement posters.  Terrible phone marketing, their phone sales tactics are joke.  I would never use this company if in fact that needed labor signage, which you can get cheap from the state.

Got a message from Scott Masson about Labor poster.  Sounded like an emergency of sorts.  Very official sounding.  Glad I checked online first though.  Sounds like a scam.

This is the number that showed up on my phone (928) 550-4523 but in the message that was left they told me to call 8889933580.  I couldn't understand what was said in the message except about the person speaking was a field agent and something about state/federal.  Now why in the hell would I call someone who leaves a message that can't be understood.  They'll have to call back and leave a message that can be understood before I call anyone back.

They leave a stern message indicating you will be in trouble with the government if you do not call them back. We do not need to be harassed by some sales "phone clerk" posing as a law enforcement officer.  This is harassment and not legal.

I get a call from a local number 520-254-0301 all the time and they never leave a message. Today I got a call from the same number but a 'call center male' named Sam Stone (yeah, that's a good made up name) said I needed to call 888-993-3580 to get my state and labor law posters....I'm not an employer! That National Do Not Call List works so well doesn't it?

I got the same call.  Here's the deal.  If you own a business with employees you are required to have certain posters placed on the wall where employees can see them.  They talk about Workman's Comp, minimum wage, and stuff like that.  You can get all of the posters for free just by calling the government agencies that require them.  Do your own google work, I stopped being a boss a couple of years ago.  Anyway, these guys just collect the posters, reformat them into a single sheet, and then sell you a single poster for more money than it is worth.  They are right, you do have to post the information, but you DON'T have to get it from them and you DON'T have to pay for it.  So if you have a business that gets inspected by government drones, you can get gigged on it if they aren't up.  Or if you have a jerk of an employee who looks for excuses to sue a boss, then they can add this violation to their extortion demands.

You can pay these guys a convenience fee and get the posters from them, do a little work and get them for free on your own, or go naked and take your chances.

I just got a call from this number - saying that we needed to place an order for our Labor Laws and it would be $109 for the year and they would send us any updates as needed. Oddly enough, we had ordered these through Costco so we luckily knew something was up - otherwise, I'm not going to lie, I might have fallen for it. But, once the gentleman on the phone said, "Im going to pass you over to our quality manager"
and he simply handed the phone to "Felix" I knew it was a scam.
