On Tuesday, 15Jan 2013 at 1:41 a.m., I got a voice-mail message from "Payoneer" or "Pioneer" saying that it was an official notification that my Debit Mastercard was locked for security reasons.  It then asked me to press one to unlock my card, but that "function" did not work.  I, of course, did not have any intention to type in my card or account number.

I called my bank and they confirmed that my debit card is not locked.

How do we report this phishing calls?

Same voicemail message both to my phone and my husbands about Gate City Bank card that we do not have. Local evening News cast had a warning about this scam.

Googling "great southern bank" will bring up the bank's website  https://www.greatsouthernbank.com/
On the bank's home page is a warning on numerous phishing calls and texts that have been reported to the bank.

Well, I don't know who Great Southern bank is, but in my area they used our local back "Gateway".  However, as per the rest of the information stated above my debit/credit card was locked and to press one.  Remind you this call came in last night about 1030 at night and as far as I know there is no bank who works those hours. Beware and do not give out any personal information.

Got the call at 12:30 AM! Let it go to voicemail, but doubled checked number in google and it brought me here.  I don't do business with that bank either. Just annoyed because what company calls in middle of the night!!! Who can I complain to?

I just got a call from this number at just a few minutes ago, midnight 27/28 Dec 2012.
Suposedly from "Gate City Bank" and "my MasterCard has been loceked", and to press a button to talk to an operator.
Robot/Automated call.
I am in ND and my number is a cell phone and on the "Do Not Call" list.
I do not do business with "Gate City Bank" and I do not have a MasterCard with them.
I just 'love' to be called 2 hours after I go to sleeP!

I missed a call from this number while at work today 12-27-12. When I called it back no answer and no answering service, just rang. When I later talked to my boyfriend he received a call from the same #. People have no shame,no respect for hard working people!!! Greedy,greedy,greedy!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my parents all got this on our cell phones and landline but no voicemails were left.

I got a call from this number this morning. An automated voice said my card had been locked and asked me to enter my card number. I had heard about this scam on the news at the beginning of the month and hung up. I called the bank after to check with them, since I do have an account with the bank that claimed to be calling, and they confirmed that it was a scam. It made its way through a nearby city earlier this month and now sounds like it is circling my city. A friend of mine also recieved the same call.

Just got the same SCAM call. Left voice mail stating debit card from Gate City Bank is locked, press 1 to speak with the security department. DEFINITE SCAM!!!! How the heck do these people even get our cell numbers!

Just got a call that went to voicemail, said that it was with Gate City Bank and that is was for my MasterCard.  I don't use Gate City, nor do I have a MasterCard.  Glad I didn't even see the call so I didn't even answer it.

Mine was also saying it was from "Gate City Bank"

Dawn - do you have a ND cell phone/land line number? I just got a call from this number as well and swore they said Gate City Bank  but when I googled the number, Great Southern Bank showed up so I thought I misheard the message. I was wondering if someone got a hold of our info and tried to set up an account w/Gate City as that is a local bank in the area where our phones are from - but we do not have an account there nor do we live there any more. When I tried to call the number back, I got a message stating it was out of service. And while I was connected to the company I tried just typing in random numbers in hopes of getting a human but had no such luck. I'm incredibly tired of this scammer BS!

Got the same 'Phising' / 'Fraud' robo-call from this number.

Got a call on my cell phone from that number and stated my Mastercard was locked and need to input my card number. Called police and gave them the phone number.

This is a total scam. Do not provide any information and hang up immediately.
