i am getting calls and i want this stopped

I have received several calls over a period of time from the same number with the William Farris as well

My phone is a pre-pay emergency-only phone, and any answered calls cost me money. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize, so haven't yet lost any money because of the scum from 901-290-9186, who have called so far THREE TIMES in one day!
My number has been posted on the phony "Do Not Call' list MANY times, but, as with every other government program, it is merely a pain in the neck and no protection at all.

I too rec'vd several calls after requesting information on part-time employement. A lady called back from 1-901-290-9186 asking me questions about going back to school and when I stated I was not interested she hung up. Wow!

Yes, I believe calls are resulting from online job applications as well. Agreed, too bad we can't just apply the "old school" way. A lot less trouble & hassle!

I was on line looking for a job and now I am getting thesr calls regarding wanting to further my education I have a degree and now it time to work pay off loans. I wish I coyld job hunt old fashion way not Iinternet then we could avoid these types of people

They called me alo, but hung up in my face both times.... becoming very irritating.

This guy calls me and knows my name right off the bat.  I just got this phone num a week ago. I'm definitely reporting whoever or whatever this is. They say I requested info about furthering my education.But seeing as though I never initiated any contact with them I called them out on it. Spoke to a "manager" and told me I gave them my personal info. I informed them that they've been caught in a lie and that this is a scam and was hung up.on.

Received 3 calls in the last 30 minutes. I called back and  it said to "please hold for the next available agent."  I just hung up after that.

I just received a phone call from this number.  I did not answer and the voice mail came thru as blank.  I have a TN based phone number.  I blocked my number and called it back.  It said to "please hold for the next available agent."  I hung up.

My ID shows this number to belong to a William Farris. He has called twice.

I received two calls from this number today.  I have no idea who it is.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  No voicemail was left.

Has anyone ever thought they where being watched?

I have received 3 calls today from this number . I don't know the number so I don't answer the phone. and they don't  leave a message. it is very irritating.

I just received 2 phone calls from 901-290-9186 and forgot to ask them who they were when they asked for some name not matched to my family.  So, I make 8 calls in a row back to THAT # to listen to and write down all of what their recording said for my DNC violation report to the Feds.  SUDDENLY... I get a call from 480-397-7251 (Scottsdale, AZ) and as soon as I say "hello" I get hung up on.  

A little while later, I received another phone call, this time from 865-344-3003 (Dandridge TN - near me) and a female told me the company name and said their records showed I had requested information.  They claim to be a "free education matching service" and want information on my education level so they can "connect" me with "a local campus that has the education" I am looking for.  

When I told her she was in violation ofthe Do-Not-Call List, she hung up on me!!!

I've gotten 5 calls in 2 hours from this number and they don't leave a message.  i don't know this number and i will not answer.  irritating.
