Call from a "Jim Black" Bureau of Criminal Investigation HA! Threatened me with fraud investigation scam

Any clue where this is from?

I wished i had read messages before i this money was taken from me they told me that i would be taken to court for not pay day loans that i refuse to pay money was taken from my account i did call my bank they said the money was from a book store  i was charged over 800.00 the phone  number was 901-213-8922 ex801 jim black hopefuly my money will be replaced hope this will help someone

You said "account" so I'm assuming credit card account, not checking account, but similar steps apply. First thing to do is deny them continued access to your card so kill it and get a new one. Tell your card issuer what happened, point them to links below, and ask they claw the money back. Your issuer may ask you to dispute the charge, tell them this is not a dispute but fraud, disputes are for billing errors while this is a crime. Beware your issuer may refuse to claw back because you gave your account info away willingly - if so, consider threatening to report to its regulating agency. Whatever info you've given the scammer is compromised and can be used against you in the future. Sorry for your loss, best of luck.

*57 is Call Trace, just google it to learn more. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I paid these guys.  He said someone filed suit against me and I owed $500.  They have already taken $250 from my account.  Does anyone know how I can stop this.  I already had a second call from another Indian guy saying I owned $1000, I hung up on him.  I realized I don't owe money to anyone!  
I should have known when they told me he was the prosecuting attorney and it sounded like a dahm call center!!!  How can I get these jerks?

dont forget the san anotnio police dept 210-207-7273... they called our office today and told my friend she is going to jail and we live in new york ??? i dont understand what they want from her they told her wire money or its bars ur behind.... somone please stop these people !!! its aweful just aweful!!!

Got a call from this people saying i owe American Payday company they claimed to sent me emails to my work email which i check on a daily basis and they said i just ignored them they had a bank acct that i havent had in years..they had my social security all wrong and they basically said they would prosecute me

Thank you guys! Sorry to hear that somebody was in tears. Thanks God I was not even close to that emotions. The guy who called me barely spoke English and there was no any chance that he could work for American law company.

I am an immigrant myself, but pedantically law-abiding and have absolutely nothing to fear or hide and the only crime was that my ss-number was apparently stolen. WITH OBVIOUS INDIAN ACCENT OF A PERSON WHO NEVER EVER BEEN CLOSE TO AMERICA he left the following message: "I am an officer Wosnitski (don't know where he took this name from). The very moment you heaRR tHis call you have must to retoorn it. You aRRe legally sued by an American government" Next time he called I interrupted him "f*** you". Sorry, I am generally very polite, but he deserved something else. Called stopped. Now, two months later they left another message. Apparently time to remind them who they are.

Don't waste your nerve on this criminals.

!!!Google must be careful in providing American phone ##s for them, unless they want to be considered accomplices!!!
I will put Google as a caller company, since it is their responsibility and their mistake. Sorry guys.

some idiots with stupid accents called and said i owe money to some loan I didn't have. they said they would make me go to court but it's all bogus.  he used the name Officer Jim Black. He would get mad when I would ask him to repeat himself because he had a horrible Indian accent. when i didn't answer, he left voicemail saying stuff about my soc security number, address and other personal info about me. I also got a call from one of my coworkers and they thought I was in some kind of trouble. It's total b***s***. Don't believe these b*****ds. they can talk all they want to try to scare you but they can't actually do anything to you unless you let them.

I had this number and others that i cant call back. The mad threatened to have me arrested. Very heavy indian-type accent.

I am recieving harassing phone calls from some claiming to be police officer. They say that they are from the bureau of criminal invesgation which is a lie.

They initially started calling my job, until I began to record each conversation and reported them to my local law enforcement. They are extremely ignorant to the laws of United States, their threats are illogical. They will call with a great deal of your personal information which is alarming as at first they sound a little legitmate. They seem to attempt to keep a record of the stories they tell you, but if you call back and make up name, and ask for any fictious name any where from Joe Blow, they will put someone on the phone. These people are full of crap. This time the guy's name was Mike Watson rambling incomprehensible English (which was quite funny). When I laughed at him and told him over several times I couldn't understand what he was saying he got frustrated. These people are a joke but persistant. They have told me they were with Bureau of Crime Investigation, Bureau of Fraud Investigation, and Law office of Investigation. Its funny if you call their number back and ask what business it is, they will refuse to tell you, because they don't know what lie to say.

I have been dealing this for a week now. They have called my employment, my child and me. Now that they realize what they tried to do they don t like it!!! Same number to me he was Tom Brown from criminal investigation bureau!!!  After about 1 hour of pure fear I was told it was an aweful scam. Do not give these people with foreign accents anything!!!

I have been living this nightmare for less than a week. I have been told by the police they  are really overseas and this number is a spoof. It is aweful

This man has been calling me since last Friday. He told my boss it was an emergency and that if I didn t call him back I was going to be arrested. He says his name is Tom Brown from the criminal investigation bureau. He is asian and very rude, swears at you on phone calls others close to you listed as a reference. Have been to the police and ftc. This is a scam do not  pay them anything . He also uses spoofs on the phone to make his number come up as previous numbers that called you.  Had to completly file as idenity theft. Big nightmare

I've been recieving phone calls from this guy supposedly named Mike Watson who says he is from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. The number he started calling me from was 615-671-9943. I traced that number and it says that it was a Tennessee #. About a month ago I tried to call it back and it was no longer in service. Yesterday I get a call from this Mike Watson again saying that he he is in a new Dept and his number has changed. He has a very heavy accent and is insisting that I pay on a pay-day loan. What caught me off guard at first was how much of my info he had. But after doing some research I find out that there is this scam that has been going on for years now. Im not paying them anything. If I owe anything take me to court and let me settle up in front of a judge for that i know everything is legit. Oh yeah, if you ask them for their info, they will not give it to you and by Law they are suppose to Idetify themselves and send you something in writing. Beware of these people and put a fraud alert out on all 3 of your credit reports.
