Received a call from 9024409569 on my work phone (landline) today, caller ID said it was a cell phone NS, when I picked up the phone an automated message said to dial "1" to hear the message. I dialed "1" and the message was "You just pocket dialed me" then hung up.. WTF?

this # has called me a few times, i just answered tonight because i got curious, and they asked for a different name. i said they had the wrong #. we'll see if they call back.

"...it was the PC Party of Canada.."

Also note that the PC Party of Canada hasn't existed since 2003, when the name was changed to just the "Conservative Party of Canada" when the PCs joined with the Alliance Party.

Definitely a scam.

I google searched the "300" area code number that was on my caller ID whose "name" is appearing as 9024400725 (which is not the originating #), and it appears to be either a China area code on the GSM network (China Unicom's GSM network for example); (or originator is technology to hide originating #).  Seems like a scam for sure.

Received the call from them also but the ID # is 300-136-5562,

Got a call from this number, with 200-127-6231 as the calling number.
Was some guy with a heavy foreign accent (Indian, Pakistani, ??), telling  me I won a trip to some resort (I never entered any contest).   Then he started to try to sell me upgrades, insurance, etc.

got a call from "9024400725" 1-300-125-8261.
The name they asked for was not me or anyone living here. I hung up immediately.

I just got a call from 100-193-6811 "9024400725". When I answered in was just dead air.  When I called the # back it said that the calling code I was using was not in service.

Recieved a call from this number with the following also appearing on the caller id:

I was home and answered it and it was the PC Party of Canada.  They asked me if they could count on my support and I said no and she thanked me and the call ended.

Was called by 902-440-0725 today.  Really, really annoying.  You sound like you`re a member of the PC and are trying to thrwart the party taking any responsibility for these harassing phone calls.

I answered, no one there just excessive speaking in th background - hung up.  
Came up on display as the 902 number but had this 1-200-125-0114 underneath - not sure what that number calls. Called the 902 number and got "Hello you have reached the voice box for the Conservative Party of Canada no one is able to take your call...blah blah" Left a message to get name taken of list.

Ahhh I got a call from that number at 2:10...and its not the first time! Of course I ignored it, getting annoying though!  
It has shown up as 100-190-0129, 100-153-4455 and 100-171-9449...."904400725"

Just (2:00 pm) got a call from a number that displayed the caller name as 9024400725 and the number as 100-189-1140.  Didn't answer the call.  It looked too weird.  Any idea how this could have an area code of 100?

i had never seen this before.  called back the 902 number and got the voicemail of the conservative party of canada... sounds fishy to me and the id number is fishy too.  there is no 300 area code so they are trying to mask their identity... this has trouble written all over it...

I've received this call 2 nights in a row at 9 pm - the one night the code back was100-169-2933- the 2nd night 100-126-8559  - I called cogeco my phone company thinking it was something to do with them and they had no knowledge of it

I just kept pressing numbers and then hung up

i just got a call from 902-440-0725/1-300-191-9800,the guy asked for two totally different named people..he also called earlier but left no message.

The woman asked for a wrong name and then hung up when I asked where she was calling from.  This is kinda creepy.  Thinking about saying "Speaking" the next time they call just to see if they'll identify themselves.

902-440-0725 i called this one back it was some kathy person so i left her a voice mail. and the other number was 1-300-152-3070, i tryed to call it back but it said something like the number is no good so call the operator or something like that.

1-902-440-0725 showed as the caller ID
1-200-126-5940 showed as the calling number

902 is my area code, my guess some spamming telemarketers trying to trick people into thinking they are getting a local call. Didn't answer, felt it would be stupid to.

My 5 year old got to the phone before me. The caller (a SHE) hung up when she spoke to my 5 year old.

I just recived a telephone call from "9024400725" 100-138-8121. The guy on the other end asked for an East Indian man. Does anyone know what this is about?

I just got a call from this number.  The display was odd so it sparked my interest:

Any idea what the second set of numbers is?  Looks to me like the first is a mask of somekind with the second being some kind of id code.  Just a guess.

They have called me several times and asked for someone else. Apparently they don't update the caller list when I tell them and just call again another time. I wonder if its REALLY the Conservative Party, or a collection agency pretending to be them in order to find out when people are home?

I just had this number call my house phone. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. James ( up above ) says it was was the PC party of cananda. the thing is that number is a cell number in Nova Scotia. So why would a NS PC member be calling people on PEI???
