This number has called three times so far today

Have gotten several from this # on a cell which almost no one has the number.  Have been when I'm away from the phone so haven't answered but found these reports.  Thanks.

9029981472 called my phone at 5:41 pm June 17th.  I did not answer, but seem to be getting these calls more and more.

I just rec'd a call from this #, but they started speaking in a different language. I just closed the call. Do not know this #. I understanding someone is trying to spoof everyone. I will never answer this # again.

Some Tele-marketing companies recieve money, though little, just by your answered calls. Others who don't gain finacially, can make the claim. . "Over 10,000,000 calls a year!" and have the records to prove it. This number, (902)-998-1472 is a "Spoofed Number." The definition of a "Spoofed Number" Can be found here. . .

Of Course Wikipedia doesn't mention Tele-marketing in their description, because that would be bad for business, even for them.They explain everything else quite nicely though. Also, (902)-998-1472 is officially listed as a Spoofed Number according to this site as follows. . .

Furthermore as my last piece of evidences, Nova Scotia is listed as a main place, and player in the game of "Spoofing." According to "Information Week" A believed reliable source, an actual government bill is begin put in to place against spoofing. This article states originally as well, Tele-communications, and Internet based hosts we Apt, or better said, in agreement for using, and creating "Spoofing". . . .Go figure. Here is the site. . .

Lastly said, if this number calls again, be advised. . try not to answer it. Through criminal acts, and abrubt technology. . .Spoofing is used to not just trick your ID, but a process to gain information about Bank Accounts, Miscellaneous accounts, PIN numbers, Social Security numbers, Phone Numbers, and much more. To sum it up. . No they can't get this info by just calling like they have now, just be cautious. Signing off. . . Rithe.

I got a call from this number at 7:14pm but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message....weird

Received a call on my cell from this number at 4:11pm PST, but I wasn't around to answer it.  Then I received a call from an unknown number at 4:48 and when I picked up they hung up.  Maybe the same person.

LOOKED UP THIS NUMBER IN THE INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORY - IT SAYS ITS FROM TURKEY

Also, the phone called to our Cell phone, which isn't listed. We know a few people in Canada, but, this is not their number. How is it, they have our Cell then. . . Lucky prank?

Recieved a call. . .7:40. A little odd. If you try calling back, it plays an Error message. The number IS from Nova Scotia, near Canada. That's all I know. . . . So far. . .
