This call from 903-483-1489 yesterday was from Texas State Troopers fund raising activities.

This person said he was with DPS and asked for a donation. When I explained I worked for DPS    he hung up on me.

The same thing happened to me except they hung up on me when I explained how the 6000 deaths occured by alcohol related accidents did not compare with over 1,000,000 deaths that occur from medical malpractice and prescription drug deaths a year. So why are non-drinkers rights taken away when coming upon a roadblock when the real numbers 6000deaths/1,000,000deaths per year.?.

Told them that I donate several times a year by speeding on the interstate and through school zones/

Texas State Trooper Association scam.  Stay away!  They are NOT a non-profit organization that supposedly benefits TX state troopers!

This is the Texas State Trooper Association scam.  They purport to benefit Texas State Troopers.  This could not be further from the truth.  They are not a 501(c)3 charitable organization-they are a scam.  We have repeatedly told them to remove us from their calling list to no avail.  Hang up on them!
