FYI, I don't think that this "Kelly Smith" is a legitimate debt collector, for one thing 'debt collectors" generally do NOT give you their name usually not even their first name. For another thing This name is connected to other phone calls associated with other reasons.

Just so you should know it is against the law for a debt collector to call friends and family members, certainly against the law for them to discuss any personal financial issues you  may have with them. Tell you friends and family members to tell them to stop calling or they are going to report them for harrassment. They also are not allowed to call you at your place of business.

I received a call on my answer machine with some " Robin Banks" asking me to call back about a person related to me with a name I didn't know. I'm figuring this person is actually "Robbing Banks". So I called back from a secure line and the first time they hung up on me, the second time I was told Robin wasn't available but Mr JP Roberts( probably Just Plain Robbers) asked how he could help me. I told him what the message said and gave him a ficticous name for me and one for the person they called about and he seemed stumped when he typed the names in his computer, told me " when I could decypher the name properly he might be able to find out who I'm talking about" I advised him I was law enforcement special crimes unit and the phone fell to the floor, sounded like he fell out of his chair. then he grabbed the phone and said " have a good day, sir" and hung up. He is probably pulling and Enron right now and shredding shredding shredding!

Please press the "caps" key on your keyboard. typing in all caps does not make your information real, or correct. Some payday loan websites sell information that is typed on the site. This information is passed on to criminals who call you to extort money on loans you never had.That's what we're talking about here.

Several collection agencys use the name WHITE COLLAR PROCESSING BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AND NOT ALL ARE SCAMS

THERE ARE  ALSO MANY BUSINESSES THAT USE THIS NAME AS THEIR DBA SOME OF THEM ARE COLLECTION AGENCYS BUT EVEN SO, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME

I don't know what phone number it came from and caller ID showed UNKNOWN.  But the automated message said the call was for...my name....and that it was Kelly Smith.  I pressed 1 to see what it was about.  I happened to remember calls from the same person before.  This time she said she was with Direct TV and wanted to verify who I was and asked for the last 4 digits of my SS.  I told her, I do not have an account with DTV and hung up. The search for "calls from Kelly Smith" brought me here.

Has anything happened since you haven't paid? I have a guy calling me and telling me I am going to be charged with Check Fraud and he won't mail me anything.

Received a  voice message from a Summer who called my work re:  a returned check ...called # back got some man wanting  me to pay  $900 for some debt ...asked him to send me information re debt and said he was unable to do that.. Informed him to stop calling me at work and to send me written information re my debt..

Got a call from Summer from White Collar Processing.  She also called my sister threatening that I am under investigation for fraud.  That I have been witnessed on a moitor cashing a check and having it deposited into my checking account.  When I asked when, in what amount & what was my checking account number, she told me to hold on and put a man on the phone who when I asked for the same information and what he wanted from me, he said he wanted "the truth" and for me to "pay my bills" - The only information they provided was that my file was going to be sent to the DA's office and that I supposedly wrote this fraudulent check to EZCorp aka EZ Money. I do not owe any money to EZ Corp or EZ Money & have never had any money direct deposited into a checking account except for my payroll checks from my employer.

I got the same call from Ken Bishop from White Collar Investigations, and Madison from Shapiro, Baines & Assoc. saying the same thing. Funny thing is both company names had the same number. When I asked for proof all they could send was an e-mail saying how much I owed - the email came from King & King Assoc with the same number based out of Fla. their officed is based out of Ga. I called my lawyer and when ai called them back to say I called my lawyer he got rude and hung up on me. It's a scam!! Espe4cially since they demanded payment by CC that same day. Anyone collecting a debt of any kind will always work with you and provide proof when asked.

i got a call from white collar processing at 1 888 592 4324 from ken bishop stating he is a compliance officer and that i wrote a bad check and that i am under investigation. he also stated that i need your side of the story

I will not tolerate these people calling and getting me upset,I'm a heart patient and this shoots my blood up everytime they call me and calling my kinfolk threatening and upsetting them!

I received a voicemail message at my office indicating the caller was Katy Hall calling from check fraud dept of Florida Proceesing. I called back once, and when they answered I indicated 'your call is being recorded for quality purposes.  I work for a phone integrator and I was recording the call, so I had to state so up front. They hung up.  I called back again, asked for Katy Hall. The person who answered asked me my name. I advised again I was calling for Katy Hall and she had left me a vm message.  The person asked be who Katy asked for. I advised she left me a message to return her call and if Ms Hall wanted to speak with me she had her chance.  Then I was asked what phone # Katy dialed to reach me. I told them I don't know as there are a couple of different #'s that can route to my extension in our phone system.  I asked why not just look at the caller ID as we were on the phone?  
The lady just let out a huff and hung up.  .

Same (MO) mode of operation as the other calls. A recorded message with a phone number and account #, stating, this is not a solicitation.  When I called back, they informed me that there was  fraudulent information that my daughter had supposedly given for an online loan. They stated that there would be a bails bond put out on her if the original amount plus fees was not paid soon.  She would be arrested and held until her court appearance.  The should not discuss information about the action to someone not involved. They had alot of information.  Her street she lived on, but gave no address.  Her previous employer, but an incorrect birth month no specific date.  This is a scam don't give any information.

this number keeps calling my cell and asking for someone named "kim" about checks.  It is not me they are calling and i would like to not receive anymore calls from this bogus company!

he called me for my brother sean and im 13 and he was yelling at me and saying if i dont tell my bro to call him he will sue me and him then i hung up

I also received a call stating I had written bad checks, when I have been doing my banking online for years and don't even have any checks.  When calling back these people, some man answered saying "Hello" with kids screaming in the background.  This is a scam, don't give them any information.  Tell them if they call again your going to report it to the FBI for fraudulent activity.  That will get them to stop calling.  It worked for me.

I as well had a call regarding returned bank item, yet no notice from my bank.

received call from very aggressive person named Danielle regarding and issuse with my  checking account, advised caller that I have not had a checking account in over  6yrs she insisted that i did and began to threaten me with legal action when i asked for the bank that check was written on  she got  upset and when i asked for the name of the company she hung up.    I called back
letter and the numver went to a messaging center. no company name, or extension or anything
just an angry perso to talk too.

received authorative message regarding returned item from bank.  be in best interest to call yourself or counsel for voluntary resolution.  left above phone number and then automated voice with file number.  ended with please be avised this is not a solicitation.

I have checked with all banking accounts and none reporting any items being returned.  very skeptical in calling a 900 number. all my prior experiences with collections company information or personal contact name has been left along with typr of collection.

Stumped.
