Someone calling themselves Tammy James called my dad's cell phone number claiming to be  investigating some fraud on my checking account.   She refused to give her company's name only a name and a phone number.  I called them blocking my number and asked the name of the company the woman who answered only said "Legal Processing".  She told me she could not tell me that information because she was only the receptionist.  She transferred me to someone named Tammy who when i asked the name of the company that it was Tesoro.  I then hung up.  Shortly afterwards they called a 2nd time on my dad's cell phone number this time my mom answered and she was told that they were going to locate me and arrest me.  Then I received a message from a friend on a social network who told me that Tammy James had contacted her claiming to be an investigator and left her a phone number.  I called Tesora back blocking my number again and asked why they were harassing my relatives and associates to which they claimed they were not harassing.  They said my name but I did not acknowledge that I was that person.  They then told me my full social security number even though I had not acknowledged being the person they were looking for.  They claimed I was on probation and in trouble with the law (total lies as I have no criminal record).  I asked to be transferred to Tammy but they refused to do so, instead they transferred me to someone who called themselves Liz claiming to be Tammy's supervisor. I repeatedly asked for a bar # and/or a licensing # they refused to give me any sort of information.  I then asked for an address again they refused to divulge this information.  I was then told that they would not give me any information but they would keep contacting people who knew me.  And that I should have my attorney contact them as they would not talk to me.

These people are breaking the federal fair debt and collection act repeatedly -- but I doubt they are a legitimate debt collection agency.  More than likely they are more akin to loan sharks than debt collectors.  Don't give these jerks any $$.

I received a call from Tammy James and she said she was an investigator. She said she was investigating a crime from Lynchburg,va. I called her back and she said she wanted to speak with Chad wit the last 4 of the social # 9987. I told her mine was not that and she hung up

I received a phone cal from someone who left a message, "This is investigator Sue Hamilton", I need _ to contact me at 904-372-4217. End of message, and this was ALL that was said.

This company called me and stated that my daughter  owed check N' go and she needed to pay $800.00 by 1:30pm. Of course I fell into the trap because she stated my daughter could go to jail and I as a mother did not want my child to go to jail, nor did I want her to lose her job. I reported this to the police department.  This is a huge scam.....

Received a harassing phone call from an "Investigator Tammy James".  She would not identify who she worked for, etc. except that someone needed to get back in touch with her.  She used the line that she worked for a "Federal Law Enforcement Agency"; however she would not identify what "Federal Law Enforcement Agency" it was.  Something appeared to be strange and not legitimate.  We need to block out the scam artists!

My boyfriend received a call from these people. it was tammy and she stated to him that he owe a debt from a pay day loan. he told her that he didn't owe the debt and that his account was hacked and someone made a payday loan off his account . She started to argue with him saying she didn't care and he was in trouble. she made a comment about going to the state and getting a warrent and he asked if he would be arrested..she suddenly said oh no one said arrest no one said jail yet she had mentioned a warrent. he again tried to tell her that the bank had already investigated the fraud and gave him his money back. The called several times first it was pay all of it by 11am, then pay by his lunch. then it was ok you can pay 100 by tommorrow. then it changed to no tonight. I googled the name and number and found this site. also the only tesoro is a country club in florida. such a scam. i called this morning to ask for an address and was told that they don't give that out due to security. they didn't even answer the phone with the company name. just this is tammy. I asked her what the company name was and she didn't answer. i asked her why she was harassing a friend of mine and she said i don't harass and whats your friends name. i said that is irelevent and that under the fair credit act she can't harass people. she then screamed at me and told me never to call her office again. Anyone who pays these people are just throwing there money away. it doesn't take care of a debt at all.

I received a call from this number, I called Tammy James back. She then informed me that I owed money through a payday loan, I did my research. I did owe the money, I paid and received a paid in full letter through her company.

I had a message from that # from a person claiming to be Investigator Tammy James (i guess Sue Hamilton is getting burnt) asking for a person that i have never heard of stating an investigation in Santa Clara county.  I want to call her back and tell her off but i am just going to ignore.

I received a phone cal from someone who left a message, "This is investigator Sue Hamilton", I need _ to contact me at 904-372-4217. End of message, and this was ALL that was said.  


Same thing as the other guy dont make any sence
