If your goal in life is to be a desperate "door-knocking, shuck & jive artist" then I guess a job like this would be right up your alley. To each their own. As for myself, I prefer to make money the old-fashioned way. I work hard & make more money (honestly) in a week than jokers in this kind of racket can earn in 2 months of solid BS slinging.
Skeff Ett Liv!

If you are willing to work and really have the family or individuals needs top priority then this is a great business
Mike C 2013-12-29 20:18:28 Unknown
pretty simple answer Tom, If you prejudged and said no way i would do that job then we would never get to talk to you. We have all sorts of people that work for NAA, some have never sold in their life but still have become successful. if your that skeptical about 1 interview your probably not cut out for the job anyways.
good luck out there
mike c 2013-12-29 20:11:08 Unknown
maybe check with companies like mutual of Omaha and Foresters before believing some haters post
mike c 2013-12-29 20:08:49 Unknown
is it really? how is a licensed insurance position considered a scam? how can you back those words?
i personally wrote 12k last week of which about 8k of that goes into my bank(1 week not a month), and all the leads came from NAA.
Mark W you guys are speaking of is an amazing man and anyone that hires under him has the opportunity to change their lives.

E I can promise you that you would have had your a** kicked if you went to that office. Funny thing is you think you are big and bad, but your really just a B****h. Golfing during the weekday instead of working? No wonder your looking for work!! HEY WHY DONT YOU SET THE MEETING UP, AND I WILL MEET YOU THERE AND WE CAN SEE WHO'S a** GETS KICKED ALL OVER THE OFFICE????
Sandra 2013-09-04 21:29:23 Unknown
Hey guys its okay.. You don't have to do anything you don't want too. If everybody would want to make 6 and 7+ figures there wouldn't be the "top %". Someone's got too tho! o yes! :) good luck to all of you asking for the reviews, company name, bad testimonials, etc. , while you can't afford your bills. Think about the people you love and are screwing over right now due to your ignorance. Adios!!
Tom 2013-05-13 19:51:57 Unknown
If you are so "informing" then why did the first caller NOT tell me what the position is and use a different company name than the second caller? How about being UPFRONT and HONEST from the beginning by telling the people you are calling that it is Insurance/Financial services, commission only and requires Licenses that must be paid for by the person you are calling?
current hr employee of agency 2013-03-23 15:49:30 Unknown
Thank you! That is why I am actually excited to call people about our jobs. Congrats on your success btw!
current hr employee of agency 2013-03-23 15:48:32 Unknown
I am currently a hiring manager for an NAA agency mentioned in this thread. Let me clarify this for you: we are not scammers. We have positions in sales available all over the country. REAL ones. We also provide leads to our sales people through an accredited service. REAL ones. Our agency bustles with people who are excited about what they do and understand that their position is commission based so they work hard and they are all very successful. Is it for everyone. Absolutely not. That is why we asked people to get started on the licensing course first so we know whether or not the people we ask to consider the position will bail on us a week in because they don't actually want to put in the work.
How DARE you call us leeches? Just because you don't like the position someone is calling you about doesn't mean that they are trying to trick you! What's more if the individual on the phone who is calling you about your resume (one of my duties, by the way) stumbles a bit or doesn't provide you with the experience you for some reason expect it is probably because 3 or 4 a***oles she/ he reached out to that day have given her trouble simply for calling them about the opportunity. Or maybe she just sat in the front office waiting for interviews who never show up and then have to verify when the department of labor calls that those people scheduled an interview so they can keep their freaking unemployment benefits.
Stop acting so jaded and entitled. We are good people, informing candidates with skill sets we think would align with the positions we have open in sales in our high need territories. The people who invest themselves in the position are happy and successful.

Wow the Shills are out this weekend.
Justin 2013-01-26 17:55:50 Unknown
What are they doing that is so shamefull? They are reaching out to people in order to help them make a better living and get people to make money on there own efforts. Might want to do some research before posting next time! Why would Top rated insurance companies like Mutual of Omaha endorse them if its a scam or looking to rip people off?
Matt 2013-01-23 17:41:26 Unknown
I get these scammers all the time, they all call and say your resume is just what they are looking for. In these times we are all looking for good jobs with steady pay. These leeches know that most of us are suffering and they use that to their advantage, they need to stop and there needs to be a law made to stop these peoplefrom doing this to honest people who just want to support their families. Shame on these companies, Afflac is doing this as well as some other companies without names.

Yes NAA is a total scam. Beware!!
No Idiot 2012-06-22 21:12:44 Unknown
This appears to NOT be a scam...but beware...
you start and won't see a dime til 3-4 weeks after your 1st close...will drive your own car= $ out of pocket...you'll be an independent contractor...can spell IRS problems dowm the road w/100 % commission
but if you do your due diligence and you can wrap your head around it, there is plenty to be made
..they do have a good ,sound product line...you'll need to get your insurance license then series 7 for annuities,etc...
people in Womack Agency( although he is a bit of a "dip" ) appear forthright...never know til you try...but have other supportive $$$ going in is my recommendation...good luck to all

NAA Womack does sketchy business. I got them to pay for my class so I just had to pay for my license with the state of FL. They offer leads and unlimited income. After going to the mtg from 9-12 they have another mtg 2-9PM. I spend my entire day waiting for anything of substance to cone about and the supposed millionaire owner, Mr. Mark Womack doesn't even know how to spell. He wasted my time, efforts, hopes, and energy. The office staff calls homes posing as an affiliate with the title company whom your mortgage is through. 23 calls were no answers, 3 already had insurance and quickly got off the phone and 1 couple actually scheduled an appt and gave personal info as far as the number of kids, gender, and age and I'm thinking, "wow, these people don't even know who they are speaking too... Only assuming an affiliate with title company and they gave them such info and invited them to their home to have information dropped off, (as the office staff puts it)." HOW VAGUE can you get? After the spot was made the staff member acts excited and says, "I love foreign people, they'll let anyone come to your home!" STATiNG it as if it was a miracle she scheduled an appt to sell this insurance!!!! Do not waste your time. NEXT! This place is for ignoramous'.

NAA is a LEGIT business with a proven track record and undeniable GROWTH! MANY people are making GREAT $-- the weak souls either quit or complain. You can't keep a quitter from quitting. It is not a WELFARE organization, the people actually have to WORK to get paid...it's not for everyone!

Stay AWAY from NAA! I was an administrative assistant at another location under another manager. It IS MLM (multi-level marketing) company with a CULT mindset. We (the recruiters) are told to lie to you! My boss was under the Shawn Meaike (pronounced "Mike") hierarchy. We were told to NOT tell you that the job is commission only and you have SEVERAL upfront fees - whether its for leads or to get licensed or BOTH. One of the sales agents I had to unfortunately recruit spent $600+ on the exam, license, liability insurance and training materials BEFORE she even paid out of pocket for the leads!!
There are NO benefits included, NO support (as much as they want you to believe so and get on the conference calls).
I also watched several of the agents I worked with FORGE information on their clients applications and lie to them and let them believe that the policies were free. One agent even said "As long as you get them to sign and they remembered that they signed something!" - UNprofessionally and UNethical.
Beware! There are more legit insurance companies that pay you better with benefits included!

Rec'd a call from Stacy on 6/17/2011 - she set up a telephone interview for 6/20/2011. Never did get the company's name. Was supposed to have a personal interview on 6/21/2011 - went to the address given the day before and found the company's name. Nothing was ever mentioned about this being a sales position...it was made to sound like telephone customer service. Found this website when I Googled the name. Phone interview was with Tracy. Her call came from 904-448-7449. She gave me (904) 448-2550 as a call back number. She also mentioned "Mark" as a manager who would "be in town" on 6/21/2011. Thanks for the heads-up...I will not be going.

I received a Phone call on my cell for a job opportunity and was just laid off 2 weeks ago. I have been Diligently looking for work. I did the research and found that this is a scam... I'm ashamed that people resort to this sort of thing during this economic duress. I need to know if anyone else has followed through with this and to see if there is some legitimacy to it. All I see is that the call is from Florida and its for a mortgage company selling insurance or something!!!!! What is this world coming too?

Didn't leave a message.
tine 2011-05-19 18:43:08 Unknown

Got a message from Trish. NAA is an Health, Life and Annuity outfit dealing in Insurance products for outside based agents.

You just missed out on the biggest opportunity of your life because you listened to a bunch of losers blogging on a website instead of checking things out for yourself. I feel sorry for you. Why don't you call the insurance companies like Mutual of Omaha or call the NC insurance commissioner. You'll find out this is not a scam if you just do some basic homework and not believe everything you read on the internet.
steamed in New Hampshire 2011-01-03 17:53:18 Unknown
I did look at it as a legitimate opportunity. They boast the upper mgmt have never sold a thing & are making six figures!!! You need a Insurance Producers license & you need to use their test assistance company to help pass the exam, $300. Then the leads. I asked after the "pitch" but couldn't get an answer. I had to go to a regional big wig, who ordered someone to "take care of me"as the crudely fwd email I got shows! The person who recruited me finally emailed me and stated that he spends $150 -$350 per week on leads!!!
So between exam, $300 & say min leads, $150= $450 1st week PAID OUT.
I have more info if anyone's interested

I went on an interview with NAA. They call it "hierarchy" which is another name for "pyramid". they sell mortgage insurance & annuities. They don't mention you have to pay for the leads, most which have been already been pounded by other agents. They had the balls to mention OJ Simpson as an example of being able to keep an annuity even if you kill 2 people & pull a home invasion.
stay far, far away.
remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is

I posted a resume on Monster.com , Daniel Garcia calls, he gives no company name or any information regarding the services they provide and/or is very ambiguous with his responses, he said there is only one available time for an interview at 9am the very next day. Not to be trusted when someone does not even want to give information about the company they work for.
I want to thank all the other people that wrote about this because they provided confirmation to what I knew was going on. Thanks all.
BTW they are now using an 813 number (Tampa area code) 254-3527
