Constantly getting a call from this number. When I answer, no one one human comes on. Says they are debt collectors. I have no debt to resolve, no credit cards, so what what the heck do You do?

They took a break for Thanksgiving but other than that, getting calls everyday, all day.

when I answered the call nobody responded I waited a few seconds and said hello again but it was silent and I hung up the phone

We get calls from this number all the time.  
The caller doesnt leave a message.  
We have no credit issues or debt that is outstanding.
Maybe this is not a legitimate collection agency...its seems like a front for identity theft.

Just got a call from this number asking to speak to someone I've never heard of. Woman said thank you and hung up. If they call again I'm going to ask to speak to someone to remove my phone number.

Called 9:47 PM thought this was passed calling time will turn in if done again !!!

These people call me all the time. I don't know who they are. I was recently in an auto accident and I don't need to be harassed by these people or anyone else right now.

have been receiving these calls for the last 2 weeks off and on - am in no debt so it is curious that they are calling this # - thanks for the info on who they are - will call the 800 next time - also the new do not call for cell phones should be kicking in at the end of the month so hopefully that will stop any future calls - really nice to know there is a face with the # so thanks for the info

call 4x a day

I get calls about 2:pm and all they ask is this (give a my last name only) and I ask what's the rest of the name and they only have the one name which could be a first name or last name.  I think this may be a problem from my son and his credit but if they don't have the full name I'm not giving them the time of day if they don't know who they are calling!  I put the #'s on call restriction on my line!

number keeps calling and am unable to call back it says this number is not available at this time. ITS IS SOO annoying

this number is always appearing on my caller id. they leave no message on voice machine. it appears the idea of no name or unknown number and name. it's to get you to call back. the calls start from 8am to 9pm. like clock work... every hour on the hour. i wish they would leave a harassing message. however knowing its illegal... all they do is hang up!.

I'm truly sick of going to the phone to find another call from an unknown name and number. This is an invasion of home privacy on a telephone I happen to pay for!

It's illegal for any debt collector to make any threats.  If they are making threats, you need to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  I have been threated before and I informed the manager of that company that if his callers continue to call me by making threats, I will not only file a complaint but I will also sue them for harrassment.  Never got a threatening call again from them.

you gotta love these boards. i have a disputed debt that has gone to collections and i refuse to answer the collection calls. now they have given my # out to telemarketers. what they don't realize is that i dont care :)  i think it's hysterical that these people are all calling me and NEVER talk to anyone. some of the collectors have left subtle threats on my voicemail, but I was in collections for over 20 years. there is no debtors prison nor anyway to collect in most states. a lawsuit may result in a judgement, but try to collect on one of those! This may however motivate me to set up a website on "how to beat the collectors at their own game!"
