I received several loans from them and never got scammed, calls at work harassing, nothing.  Everything was great.  I called today, however (11/7/2013) and I ask for the same lady I always work with, Isabel.  The operator says she is not there can I take a message?  I tell her I wanted to see if I was eligible to receive a loan.  She says, "we are not making loans right now".  Me: Well, what are you doing?  Op: This is the answering service.  Very strange, then I go internet to see what I can find and I find this, reports about CK Marketing.  Bad reports.  Things that make you go, hmmm.

Ok, here is a great concept. What if there was a company out there that would lend me $200-$500 to help me get through the week until payday. Then when payday comes I pay back to loan plus the fees that I agreed to upfront. That would be great, right? Well, they already exist. CK Marketing is no different from any other on-line lender. If you borrow the money and pay it back when you agree there is no problem. However, consumers see a short cut by not paying back the full amount as they agreed to. The PDL companies then refinance the loan over an extended period of time. This is where the consumer falls into the payment plan trap. Next thing you know you have made payments for 6 months and you have only been paying on interest and the principal amount owed has not changed. Then, consumers get upset at their own decisions and play the victim. Then they are in collection and get surprised when they get collection calls. Own up, pay your bills! Stop blaming the companies for your choices.

I was going to use them but they want all of the transactions from your bank account and as far as I'm concerned that is none of their business.  They got what my deposits were, what my ending balances were, etc. they did not need all of my transactions (who they were to and for how much.).  I told them to forget it and they could stick it up the butt.

I got a loan from them last month, and it went smoothly. I hate going through these places, because they charge so much interest, but every now and then I have no choice. I paid them off in full on my payday, although they seemed to want to draw it out - probably to make more in fees. After I'd paid it off, I kept receiving texts that confirmed I was paid up (almost like they were surprised I didn't default on it). Well, I just had to ask for another small loan of $200.00 to get me through to next payday. It was easy, convenient, and so far no problems. Their people have been really nice and the transactions are usually super quick (I usually have to call from work, and so I don't have much time). I think where people get confused or run into problems is when they have the interest payments taken out of their accounts, because that is where the profit is for them. By not paying it off right away, they can take interest payments out per the agreement, and then it can turn ugly. I have had companies call me and harrass me from noisy call centers, like thick-middle eastern accented persons call and say their name is Steve, or Bob (actually very funny), and ask me for my attorney's name - I have defaulted on loans and although I must be killing my credit, have had some hilarious experiences. Anyway, long story short - just pay when you say you will, and don't be tempted to draw it out, that's what they want.

@ TG- What do you mean they will buy out other loans? I just applied with them and they have my acct number. I have defaulted on other PDL, does that mean that can collect on that and deduct my bank acct??

Prank Call
Oh dear God! After reading all of this I am scared to death.  I applied with CK Marketing last evening.  I need a small loan to catch up on some bills & my boyfriend gave me their #. He got their # when he went to wefixmoney.com & they refered him to CK Marketing.  He insisted I call CK Marketing directly to "cut out the middle man".  The people were nice & told me I was pre-approved for up to $500 & would get a response today.  Boy, did I get a response!  I spoke w/my boss when I went in to work this morning & gave him a heads up they'd be calling him to verify my employment.  He said that was fine.  About an hour later, he told me the secretary's desk got a call from my bank, trying to get ahold of me regarding fraud activity on my account.  I knew my bank didn't have my work phone #, so I freaked out.  I spoke with the secretary (who just so happend to be filling in for someone & is the head of my company's fraud department.) She told me the woman was very hurried & said they knew my boss' name & wanted me to call them asap.  She gave me the 928-726-1576 phone # they called from. I knew that wasn't my bank, but I returned to my desk & told a co-worker about the situation. She insisted I call my bank to make them aware of the situation.  Right after ending the call with my bank, I returned to my work desk & received an email from the secretary at my job, where she did a search on who had called. It was indeed CK Marketing.  Their address that came back from her ph # search is CK Marketing Inc 4342 E 31 St. Pl Yuma, AZ 85365.  I left my desk to call them & at that moment got a call from Ashley at CK Marketing verifying my employer's address.  I'd just gone over all requested info w/Andrea the day before.  I asked Ashley if they called my employer from a 928 # & she told me no. I asked her if they were in AZ & she told me no.  I explained to her what the fill-in secretary told me & she said it wasn't them.  I was told I'd hear back from someone shortly.  I waited & waited & I called them on my lunch break & was told they couldn't find my acct w/my ss # or ph #.  I told them all of the names of the people I talked to & when.  She told me I could expect a call back from the verifying dept after "she" returned from lunch & to give her a half hour or so. She said she forwarded my info to "her". I asked what "her" name was & she stuttued her told me it was Jamie.  I gave her over 2 hrs & heard nothing.  I called them only to be put on hold several times & finally transfered to Jamie.  I explained to Jamie that I was told she'd call me back hrs. before.  She told me there wasn't a note or any communication left for her to call me. She placed me on hold several times, only to return to the line & tell me I was denied.  She said they didn't know why, but I'd be contacted via email with a reason.  I told her about the "fraud" message I got at work & she said that each of them call to verify info. different ways to get references/employers to verify their relationship to the borrower.  She said she personally doesn't so that, but some do. I told her how upset I was with that & she gave a half-assed apology.  I ended the call with her & a few minutes later got a call from a woman with a whiney voice & Hispanic accent.  She asked me if I'd applied for a loan with CK Marketing & to verify my info. She asked me if I talked to Nikki (who my loan was originally assiged to but never seems to be in the office) & I told her I never spoke with Nikki.  I told her I'd spoke with Andrea, Ashley & Jamie & that Jamie informed me my loan was denied.  She said ok & I hung up.  I'm now researching this company AFTER giving them my info, because my boyfriend suggested I do so because he's never had a problem with them.  He got a small loan from them late last year or early this year & is still paying on it.  I had been telling him to call & see why. He is just so busy with working 3 jobs & going to school, but once he walks in the door, we are going to review his payments.  I know better than to give my info out, but truested these people.  I heard that although no loan amt was discussed, they are still going to deposit money in my acct & do what they've done to others to get it.  I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB & Ohio Atty Gen.  My complaint may be one in a million, but after enough complaints & wrong doing, they will get whats coming to them.  Class action lawsuit, maybe?

I got a loan through them and had been paying them every two weeks and then when I could not get ahold of them I put a stop payment on them. The next payday they took an entirely different amount. I got the bank to put a complete stop payment on them now. A lady from the company called me and insisted that they never got any money even though I have proof, she also stated that she talked to my boss and had his name and that he was getting the garnishment ibfo prepared for them. That is when they offered a settlement of $100.00 a month, I talked with my boss who is also a friend and he said that yeah they had called but left him a message and he called and left one back with them saying tht unless they had a court order that they were to not call him again. This company is obviously a scam that preys on people that need short term help and then they use scare tactics believing that none of us will fight them...

I recieved loans from this company three times, it's not a scam lets say for example you want. $200 the interest would be $60 so $260 would be debited out of your account the following pay period. Now if you don't pay in full the debit $90 every check until they get there money. I'm sorry I'm a single mom and they have always helped out, if you don't understand the agreement the maybe you shouldn't apply. A lot of you complain that they taking your money without you knowing if you was SMART you would of read the agreement and would know to pay in full. So I will continue using them because I'm not stupid like some of you who obvisiouly cant read.u

Its rather comical. Some guy called saying that "they" got me for intentionally defrauding a bank and that they spoke to my attorney (haha i dont have one) and that he can feel free to give them a call. He said what he was going to do is send the paperwork thru locater services from my county and said that he doesnt know if i still work at the address but thats where they are delivering the paperwork.
A- Who's "they"
B- Legit companies identify where they are calling from and send you a bill giving you time to pay it
C- they are illegally harrasing all of us but they dont care which is a clear indication they have no ACTUAL legal grounds
D- they wanna act like idiots they aint getting a dime because it seems to me if you pay them anyway they are still going to rack up the charges causing you to become farther in debt SO..
E- SCREW EM!

I am going through the same thing now with them. I got a $200 loan with them and had some financial problems and was unable to pay it back. I missed a payment on October 31st and next one due on the 15th of this month. They are offering me $100 settlement which if I had the money I would jump on. I'm working with a debt consolidation company who has told them to stop calling, sent them a Cease and Assist letter and they continue to call me 4+ times a day and even though they can get a hold of me they are calling my boss and telling them they need to urgently talk to me regarding a legal matter, even though they may have already talked to me several times that day. I told the lady Shaunda Rosa that it was harassment and she said it wasn't harassment because I owe the debt to them and that she would continue to call me and call my job every day until I paid it. I asked her why she needed to talk to anyone at my company and harass them daily if they are talking to me and she said to be sure I still work there, everyday!!!! It's just flat out harassment. I wish I knew what to do to make them stop.

I am going through all of this right now with company. They are calling my job asking for my supervisor, threatening to file a warrant in my county. I will be sending them a cease and desist letter and if they keep calling my job I am going to sue them. If you work and you ask them not to call your job, they have to stop calling your job. If they violate your wishes about your job, you can take them to court for harrasement.

I had a loan with them and defaulted.  The rep and I came to a settlement of $100 and she advised that I could not pay by debit card, only a check or mail in a money order.  What company doesn't accept a VISA debit card.  She stated that she would have her team assistant contact me and give me the address.  We had been corresponding via email so they stopped.  Now I have this so called law office calling me saying that they are going to sign off and have the sherrif come serve me papers about this.  I'm like how?  The rep won't respond back to emails and when you try to call the number doesn't work.  I told this "so called law office" that CK Marketing can take their debt and choke on it because I wasn't paying anything.  Who in their right mind stops responding when someone offers to pay their bill?
