they called and left a message from Citi Cards
I called back, gave them my personal info and realized halfway through the call I was getting scammed
I hung up yet they keep calling
If anyone else was as stupid as I was, please contact a credit agency and have them flag your line of credit

...well, it is Citibank, and it's part of their collection program to intimidate card members.   It's the beginning of the end of your relationship with this bank.   When they move certain accounts to a different status, they then, on a wholesale level, treat the account differently because they as moving it towards a collection or write off, even if you're paying your min on the card.   They want to liquidate your account so that they can get it off the books ...so they start to treat you like s***, harass you, and break down the relationship.   This is the state of affairs with almost all credit card companies.   They will destroy your credit before it is done, but it's not about you the individual, it about corporate banking reclassifying certain debt on their books ...it you are too slow to pay down your balance, and then you might wind up on their radar screen.

I agree with the posting that this is not a Citigroup phone number. When you call the number back, there is no answer and the default AT&T wireless voicemail recording kicks in. I find it very hard to believe that Citigroup wants any of its representatives mass-calling customers from a CELL phone.

It is a legit Citicards number.

i kept getting calls from this number and verified it was citibank. I even called the 800 number back to verify.

I have been getting calls also multiple times a day from this number. They left a voicemail saying it was Citi Cards and the callback number was 800-322-2200 when I called that to find out what was up, it says the the number is being checked out by AT&T. It's sad companies sell private information and I get harassed on a daily basis.

I was on the on the other line and didn't answer.

I just got a call from them as well same number.  Don't have an account.  They have caller ID but asked for my info anyways to confirm that I wasn't using someone else's phone.  My phone is not in my name so I don't know why they were calling.  I told them I don't have an account with them asked the purpose of the call.  The lady didn't respond.  The message left on my phone stated that it was Citibank and at the end they said something about AT&T as well but still just as confused.

On Citibank website they don't have such a number even listed.  All are toll free numbers like 800, 866, 877, or 888.  The real Citibank number I called gave me a thing saying like all professional businesses say "Your call may be recorded for quality insurance and training purposes."  This number did not have this.  I did not have to type of say my account number at all to Citibank when I placed a call to them.  Another thing on this number above it did not give me the fun fun elevator music jingles when I was on hold for a representive.  Just a guy who seemed like he was a lumberjack trying to hold an office full of scammers.  The lady had no idea about the number above and put me on a blocked call list from anyone from Citibank.  She has no idea why I would have been called and I hope they do call back from the above thing.

This number has been calling me once or twice a day for two weeks. I never call back based on these posts. Besides, the voice has the tone of an absolute moron. It would just raise my blood pressure if I called them. PS I'm not even a Citicard customer!!

Number is 1-904-954-3071...Credit Card Identity Thieves! DO NOT give them any information. Citi Bank gives out their customers' information (address, phone number, etc.) to help other credit card companies do "direct" advertising. Then these people's info gets into the wrong hands and you wind up dealing with SS and that's never fun. Just thought I'd leave a tip..

this IS not CITI cards. After the first call I called the number on the back of my card and they said that they are in no way releated to this phone number. If you call them back they will want your credit card info, do NOT give it to them

call was a recorded message claimed was citicards, told me to call them back.

Might be citigroup - that is what caller ID says... call the number they left and they want cc # and then it disconnects. May be a bogus number as when I call the number on my CC they know nothing about the calls made.

i have receved a call from this number and they don't say a thing at all.

I have received two calls from this number in the past hour.  haven't answered yet.  I will next time.
