They've called several times wanting to know how much we're selling our house for but it's never been up for sale.

These people called me & I tried to tell then I don't owe the house. They had the adacity to call & hang up on me . If your going to telemarket @ least have the balls to listen to the answer no

Had a male voice answer our phone and no one spoke to him - just dead air.

These people have called my house for the past year every week asking about duct cleaning. I have told them so many times that we will never get their service bug they still persist!! I have blocked their number with my phone and they keep calling from a different number. These people are AWFUL.

What my esteemed colleague is saying is 100% true.  And my fellow Canadians can find relevant links for assistance.

Called on the weekend when no one was home.  If they call back I'll tell them I have radiator heat.  If they call back I'll be rude...makes my wife shake her head.

This number just called, I answered (don't usually answer a number I don't know), they asked for the home owner (which I am). I said they aren't here. CLICK! A****ole!

For years they have been calling, They seem to change there number now and then, I've told them no , I've told them i dont have any ducts, I've told them you have been calling here for years you really need to take us off your list your wasting your time ect ect , they dont care , they dont seem to give a dam that im on the DNC list.

I heard the (Do Not Call) DNC list is being purchased by telemarketing companies. They say it's for ethical reasons, to cross reference, but this way they know the numbers are current and active.  The DNC list is a scam too. Sad isn't it?

Sister answered the phone, I have a recorded video of the caller telling my sister he was going to "f*** her mother and sister and daughter in the p**sy". Sick human being.. Taking this matter forward

I would just simply tell these idiots: 'Hey, even if I needed duct cleaning, I sure as hell ain't gonna give the job to some unknown #@$%! who calls out of the blue and interrupts my dinner!'

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

Everyday I ask the telemarketers to STOP calling.  I work for a home improvement company and I DO NOT NEED my DUCTS CLEANED.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  STOP HARASSING US!!!!
