Got a call from someone with a heavy east indian accent ( which I could barely understand ) representing a company called Premium International. He calms that I filled out a promo card in June, when I told him that I do not fill out promo cards of any kind he said that I did and that I had forgotten about it. Then I "Cornered" him, asked him what was my first name, kept repeating my last name, then asked him what was first initial of my first name, kept spelling my last name. Told him off and that I was calling the police and inform the police with the name of the company and # on phone call display and hung up. 10 minutes later I called the number that was on call display, big surprise to find out the number was disconnected. It's all a scam, so much for "The Do-Not-Call" list.

The companys name is Premium buyers club.  I know this because I use to work for them befor they changed their name in around march 2008.

They are known as Canadain universal network solutions, and are a huge scam company.

They were rude to their employees, would make us work till 10:30 or 11pm calling people. they violated employment standards and telemarketing rules.

One day we came to work, and they had all their stuff in boxes, and were SHREADING documents, they left. dissapeared, with no paychecks we got.  they owed us a full months pay, I never got payed either.

3 months after they shut down and dissapeared they reopened under a new name, their website was owned by the same guy, frank altimarie (dont know spelling). Their website was also the same and had the SAME FAKE TESTAMONIALS by apparently their happy customers of their club and price presentation crap.

DONT BE FOOLED. and if you work there. QUIT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

Chances are you never filled out a ballot. 95% of their numbers come from the god damn phone book. If you did fill out a ballot it wasnt recent, and it was bought by them for 2-3$ so they could photocopy it and sell your information, the ballots they got are all from 2007. ask them to take you off their list will NOT work. they will keep calling.

Don't buy their membership, dont go to their presentation, don't do anything but spread the word.
OMG I USE TO WORK FOR THAT COMPANY

I received a call but from a 1-800 #. He advised me that I or my spouse had completed a ballot on April 27, but could not tell me where (Walmart, Canadian Tire, grocery store, shopping mall, etc) first of all...I have no spouse...so that sounded fishy. Same 5 prizes, I was asked to get a pen and paper to write them down, I would now be transferred to his supervisor who would give me the code to claim one of my prizes. The code would not be given however until I booked an appointment. I was given the number 416-548-5982 x 2424 name James to call back to make my appointment. I was to attend to their offices in Mississauga at 1510 Drew Rd. I searched the name on the on the internet: Premium Centre and found nothing. I did a reverse search of the number and found nothing. I called the number back and without entering the extension, James answered. When I said I was trying to find out the name of the company he got rude and hung up on me. I called again and he pretended not to hear me and he kept repeating:" hello, can you hear me?" and eventually he hung up. I know that there was nothing wrong with his phone. He probably found me to be an annoyance.

Similar to above had a call from this number - the guy was very agressive and rude and interrupted me several times while I was trying to get off the phone. He ID'd himself as someone from Premiere International (or something close to that). I hung up on him after asking him to not call back.

Then he used call blocking and called me back. Was again agressive and rude. Will be reporting this number.

I got 3 calls from this jerk. Asked for the people who use to have my number (I have had this number for almost 2 years) and I told him they don't have this number anymore and please remove my number from his list (he had a heavy asian accent). He said "how do you know I have a list?", and I said "I am on the DNCL and not to call anymore" then he proceeded to ask who I was and I told him why? He said I have a nice voice so I told him I was married and hung up. He then called again asking why I hung up and said that I am married and don't call again, he asked if I had kids, I told him that was none of his business and if he called again I would call the police. Call 3, he once again asked why I hung up and what I was wearing, I started scream that he was a F***ing dirty pig and I a was calling the police.
I hate call spoofing, and is there a way for it too be traced???

This pm caller claimed that me and/ or my husband filled out a ballot and won a prize- congratulations.  We needed to come to the location in Mississauga to enter into another draw to determine which of the 5 prizes we would win- ie tv, trip to Vagas ect.  When I asked where did we fill out the ballot- the called claimed it could have been from any of hundreds of locations, across the country- canadian tire/ grocery store/ walmart- (of course places everyone visits).  He said we needed to come down to the Premium center- 1510 Drew Rd., Unit 6 mississauga- phone 05 258 9219  - told called I wanted to know the name of the company so I could verify their info with Better Business Bureau-then I hung up!

I got a call from these guys on Oct 6/09, with the same shame told here, give me a key to pick up one of five prizes on Mississauga.  Some information about me like my spelling name and address was incorrect, in that way I could see that call was scam. We arranged a meeting but I never going to go. They left this number 416 548 5981 x 100 Jhon Levert.

This number has shown up about 5 time in the last four month and each time they clam your spouse had filled an ballot "which neither of us did".
They clam that we have won a prize and that both of us should come out to their Woodbridge location to pick it up. This is BS, your prize is an hour and half with one of the most agressive sale people on the planet. These people use their skill to intimidate good honest people into singing on the dotted line. Will people its time to fight back, but what your parents taught on the back burner and do what I did when this guy called at 8:00 on a Saturday. I quote myself " We did not fill-out any BS ballot at any time and take your F$%* prize and shove it where the don't shine. DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE ANY MORE YOU F N more on." This is the only form of communation these people seem to understand.

ITS A SCAM USED BY TELEMARKETERS TO VIOLATE THE DO NOT CALL LAWS.
Claim you entered a contest that you never entered.
it implies a previous business relationship that does not exist.

REPORT THEM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND DONOTCALL WEBSITES!

"Sam Richards" called, speaking with a heavy accent which sounded somewhat computer-enhanced. He claimed that I had filled in a ballot on June 17th, 2009, when neither my wife nor I did so. He gave me a ballot number and said that I had won one of five prized, but couldn't tell me which one - Possibly a 42" TV, $1500 cash, or trips. All I had to do was go to their prize claim location at 1510 Drew Road, Unit 6, Mississauga, Ontario, L5S1W7 (at Dixie and Derry).

I was told that there would be no financial commitment, no time share hard sell, etc. When I asked how long it would take, they said that it would take no longer than an hour and a half - a discussion about the five available prizes where we could ask questions about them, a refreshment intermission which they hoped we'd enjoy, and the prize selection/awarding.

I told them that I would have to discuss this with my wife. He left me with this phone number: 416-628-9766 x:1212. This seems to be the phone number of the "Canadian Gifting Center" in Woodbridge, Ontario.

These phone numbers show up in a number of places on the internet warning of scams. I agree with them. There are some entries that say that they actually DID win prizes, but those entries are very similar to each other, including the poor grammar, bad spelling, and identical capitalization.

So far, I haven't been hounded by them calling me back over and over - which others have experienced. We'll see what happens if I don't call them back.
