Have recieved this call on my BC cell phone at least three times a week at the same time of day.  They are supposedly doing an Early Childhood Developement survey. Have told several of the ladies that I am at work and can't take personal calls and to please call back after 4 pm my time.  Still getting calls around noon and getting thourally pissed off.

3 Days in a row I've got a phone call on my cell from this number.  I haven't answered it.

I got the call too and decided to take the survey. The company is called A+ Child Development (check out their website) and the program they are marketing is called Project Headstart. They use the survey to determine if you qualify to have a consultant come out and meet with you to tell you what the early childhood program is all about. They won't tell you what the cost is, so I will.  It's $75/month for 4 / 6 years (I can't remember) or it's an upfront fee of $3600ish.  They don't tell you how much it is so that they can explain the value of the program and show you a sample of the materials. Well I qualified and had a consultant come in and talk with us last night.  The theory, concepts and materials are excellent and can be used up to the Jr. High stages of your child's life.  I see a real benefit in this program for my child (program is Montessori based). If you're interested they will sign a contract with you only binding in 10 days or until you see a qualified teacher who will bring all the materials with them to show you how to use the curriculum.  If at that time you don't want to go ahead you can cancel your contract and that's that.  They tell you that you're part of a market research program and ask that you provide information to them (ie. reports cards when your child starts school, and a testimonial after a period of time that can be used for marketing purposes once the program is launch in the retail market.  My husband and I feel that the costs are high and it's hard to get a 3rd party opinion of the program on-line. They say they have a confidentiality agreement with all the 18,000 families that are in the program so they can't provide names as references.  The only feedback so far is the testimonials on their site. Both my husband and I love the materials, the program and concepts behind it.  They boast that 80% of their children meet the goals (i.e reading at a grade 3 level by the age of 4) if this program is started early (3rd trimester to age 10).  But b/c we can't find more 3rd party information from them we're skeptical.  I'm in the process of looking for more information before we decide to do anything.

If you don't want any more annoying calls I suggest that you do the survey and answer their questions incorrectly and trust me, they'll leave you alone.  Good luck.

I have received at least two phone calls per day past five days from this number. I do not believe it is a child development company but a marketing survey company because I did answer some questions last year for them. I did about 10 questions and it involved more about our household imformation than childhood development. Everyone BE CAREFUL.

I've been receiving 2 calls a day at both my home and cell phone numbers at random times of the day from this number for over a month now (I never answer). Its been anywhere from 7 am to 9pm!
I took the email from one of the earlier posts and sent them a nasty mail saying that what they were doing was NOT good business practise and if they continued I was going to start by reporting them to the BBB then look into what other action to take.
I also included in caps that this was harassment.
Included my two phone numbers in the subject line as STOP CALLING .....

We'll see but I haven't received a call yet today.

Getting REALLLY tired of calls from these guys - who never say hello once I pick up the phone.

Abuse of telecommunications equipment.  I'm going to start calling my provider with harassment calls.

they have phoned my cell phone 6 times in 5 minutes  today at work  and it is very annoying. I called it back and nobody answered it went to automated voicemail  and the mailbox is full.

You can email phs.richmondhill@apluschilddevelopment.com and ask that they do not call you anymore. Not sure if it'll work. but if enough of us do it maybe they'll get the hint!

I have received two phone calls from this number in two days. It's really annoying. What does don't call my phone number on my cell because I'm not picking up mean? What does if I don't you nor if you don't me than don't call me mean? What does if they don't know my voice mail message mean?

I'm having the same problem. I receive a call up to 3 times per day and rarely does anyone pick up. I propose that we fight back! Below is the email address for their head office. Voice your opinion. Who knows if the company will actually listen, but we'll never know unless we try.

I was getting this call for a while a couple months ago adn i finally answered and told them I was not interested and to not call me and now I am receiving the phone calls again.

I have received several calls from this number but I have never picked up the phone since I don't know the number. I had enough today and picked it up but it was dead on the other end ... I hope they will never call me back!

Or they don't answer and it's dead on the other side.

I've gotten five or more calls in one month. From this number from all times of the day. I don't answer long distance from my cell phone but it's annoying. If I don't know the person or business then don't call me or leave a voice message. If they call me one more time I will have to find a way to block them.

I keep getting calls from this number as well, plus I received some bogus survey in the mail for them to send out, I want to know how they knew I just had a baby and how they got my number? Somebody is selling numbers as I'm not even listed in the phone book, but who? Any ideas?

I got 2 calls within an hour from these people today. I have a feeling this is who I said no to about a survey last week. I don't really pick up numbers I don't know though, so it could be something else. I'm getting really annoyed!

i thought i was just the only one recieving this number(9053261864,yeah,like everyone,it so annoying,i answered once and i dont understand what is she saying,so i hanged it then i was thinking,cause i think i heard she something appointment so i call back,it goes to an automated voice message and it says mailbox of A+ development,the next day i missed the number again,i call it back someone answered,i told my name and saying that their number appeared on my cellphone,she says wrong number,then like every single day,i recieved 2 missed calls from them sooooo,annoying.

now when i get spammers call me, i save the number, put "do not answer" or "spammer" as their name and it goes unanswered....

This number I believe is to be from a progam called Head Start which is an early childhood development program. They're looking for families for enrollment into their program.

I've got two calls in a week from this number, I haven't picked up because I never get to my celphone fast enough and they never leave a voice message.  I called back and a message says it's something about child development. I remember I have picked up several calls from that number before, probably three when I just gave birth and I was trying to get some sleep I would get calls early in the morning and it's very annoying.

I actually picked up this time as I was getting annoyed wit the 2-3 daily calls each weekday after 2 weeks of them calling straight.

The place that is calling is based in Ontario. The caller said she's calling to conduct a 2-3 minute survey regarding child early development. I told her I didn't have the time to do this and asked her to not call again and instead she answered with, "I''ll call back."

How annoying.

I have been receiving calls everyday!!! They never leave a message! I phoned back and it is an answering machine with no personal voice, name or anything, just your automatic machine voice with number. You can not even leave a message, there box is full!.....and now that I am reading all of your comments I remember talking to them (A+ education)in August.  I accepted to receive there package because they were very harrasive. They then pursude to make an appointment and they would not accept NO for an answer!!!???? What up guys??? No, is NO!!!
We were finally able to cancel out but now they are starting all over again .... AHHHHHH....Is there anyway to make them understand

keeps calling over and over! sometimes 5 times per night.

This number has been calling and not leaving messages.  So, I assume it's a telemarketer.  I did pick up today but no one answered after 3 seconds, so I hung up.  I'm not going to try to call them back since I read some postings that their voicemail is conveniently full.  I suspect that they got my phone number from the company that swarms in on hospitals (mine was Etobicoke General/William Osler Health Centre) on new parents with free samples and makes you fill out your info without telling you what it is.  Unfortunately for me, I signed their waiver without knowing.  Send those people away when they come into contact!
