I got the same letter giving me a check for $4996.00 with a letter explaining what to do next and a list of companies to shop at. I am sure it is too good to be true, so probably it is SCAM. Please advise what to do next.!

could you actually cash the check though I just got one too... Did the money deposit into your account?? i just dropped my check off at an atm, and i dont wanna be stuck with paying back the money.

Yes, We received letter and check for $ 4, 996.00, called and got a run around, bank said again it is a scam. they pull or stop payment after deposited and guess who is left holding the bag , you got it , us!!!!!....... SO DON'T DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE !!!!!!

At least that is what the letter says...  They employ "Mystery Customers" to buy things and provide reports on other various business.
