stop calling and wasting my  time

Easy enough to stop. Call them and ask to be put on their internal do not call list.

This number has been calling my house for the past 5 or so days.
I usually do not pick up numbers I do not notice but was very annoyed.
A lady said she was from an energy company (I think she said Home energy something something)
She stated she wanted to rebook an appt we had with them previously that they had cancelled I laughed and said we had no appt. She said it was from 2011. (lol) I said I do not want an appt and am not interested. She said okay and did not push me any further about any further sales etc which I was surprised about because they usually keep going on and you have to say no a million times.
I hope me finally answering the number will make them stop calling now!!

I have not answered the phone when this number appears (at least 3x a day) but they will not leave a message either.......being a real pain.

why does this number keep calling me - leaving a so-called message - which is  blank.

Try blowing a really loud whistle when you answer, maybe that will stop them from calling again.

Thanks heavens for call display.  We never answer these calls.  However, they are soooooo annoying!  Can't count the times we've run for the phone, expecting a known person only to see this phone number.
Can't anything be done about these people?  I wouldn't deal with these people if they were the last suppliers on earth.  Calls twice a day for the last couple of months.

Calls twice a day, everyday.  I will NEVER do business with these clowns!

they call me several times a day but i never answer.They know where you live.My neighbour answered when they called her and a sales rep showed up 10 minutes after she hung up.

They go door to door and ask for your bill and get the number off it and forge your signature and that puts you in to a rental agreement when they call you and ask you to say something it recorded as poof that you sign the contact all the sails people are trained to use this trick to rip you off so they get paid and you get f__ked they should be shut down and charged "CRIMINALS" that are getting away with what they do!

Report them to your real natural gas provider and the Do not call List (Federal Government)

A few days ago this automatic dialing machine called me 20 times in a single day, however this was exceptional because it usually calls me only 11 times per day (and almost every day).  It's a good thing I have the call blocking machine that I mentioned in my previous message above, otherwise I would already be in a mental health hospital.

This is Just Energy. Scammers who call several times a day. If you call back the number you never get a person, just a message. I finally spoke to a human the last time they called today and said they were harassing me and to stop calling. Will see if that works.

Thanks for all the posts. These people have come to my door before and I'm glad I know it's them who are calling. Don't bother being polite to them, they act as if they have authority but they really have none so be sure to avoid their scam!

I get a call from 905-461-2361 EVERYDAY. I have never answered the phone, but I finally looked up the number. I am not surprised that it is a telemarketing scam. Whenever I see a number I don't know, I pick up the phone and put the receiver by my speaker and turn the volume up really loud. Some still call back, but then I know not to pick up. Very annoying though.

This number keeps calling and calling. I just tried to call it back, was advised that customer service was busy and to please hold, held for about a minute and was provided with a voicemail to leave a message as they are unavailable. This is extremely annoying. Wondering who they can be reported to.

Just had a call from them.  They asked for me, something about a rebate I'd sent in.  When I picked up the call, the woman said nothing about a rebate, but only about upgrading my water heater to EnergyStar.  I declined, stating that we rent ours.  She then stated that the main company doesn't rent heaters, and that the rental will still appear on my bill as normal.  I declined again.  She kept talking, stating that she is with National Home Services, an accredited Canadian company.  I informed her that if she calls again I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

These people are very organized, persistent  scammers.
Do not give them any info, as they pretend to have a business dealing with you and use that as a ruse to justify calling you on the phone even if you are on the do not call list.

They collect info from a crew of door to door people as well as via the phone. They will use any info you give them at your door to cross sell you via the phone and vice versus.

They misrepresent their company in many ways.
1. They will tell you THEY are the people you currently rent your hot water tank from. (along with a story such as they actually provide the tank & services but Enbridge or Direct Energy does the billing)
2. They tell you that you MUST upgrade your antiquated hot water tank. (they will advise you it is mandatory or that Enbridge or Direct Energy is updating all the tanks to newer more efficient ones)
3. When confronted with the fact that they are not your current vendor, they will lie.

If you tell them no over the phone, they will send someone to your door. If you tell them no at the door, they will call you incessantly.

I was out of town for 2 weeks and during that time my home phone received 5 calls a day for 10 straight days. When I answered it and found out who it was, I advised them that I would never do business with a company that conducted themselves in such a manner.

I advised them that I would be calling the CRTC to complain about solicitation even though I am on the DNCL. They immediately lied and said they were allowed to call me because I had made an appointment to have my hot water tank replaced. This was an unmitigated attempt to bypass the repercussions of violating the DNCL as I have never made any such appointment.

I got 22 calls from this number and once  call back - this is customer service of energy company, nobody take call, offer leave a massage.

I confirm that they are using an illegal automatic dialing machine because they call me about 12 times in a period of 20 minutes and they do it every day.  No human would be dumb enough to do it.

It is useless to block individual phone numbers because scammers change or spoof their numbers regularly.  I have the Call Blocker 10 (see link below) which allows me to block entire area codes and my phone doesn't even ring.  You can do yourself a favour and purchase one.  You should spread the word, and then it's the end of telemarketing scammers !  :-)

Keeps calling my cell several times a day, since I am at work I do not pick up, when I called back from my home line, a recording told me the number was credit cards, no name just credit cards, I hung up and won't answer when they call which is several times a day.  Do they ever get tired of calling to no answer?

They are always calling !!!  AAHH !!! How can I stop that? They are anoying. When I pick up they just hung up and I have a lot of miss calls
