This organization is a good causr but Abbeville you have told them 2 days ago that you didn't have anything and then they call again (not once but several times) in a day it is highly annoying.
It is sad but I had to block their number. Enough is enough.

It's just the 'Clothes Line' for the CDA calling, asking for clothes donations and nothing else. If you don't want them to call you just ask to be put on a internal DNCL. Simple as that, fokes. I have even told them that I just dropped off clothes at my local donation centre and asked to be called back in 6 months.

If you are going to make calls at least have someone respond when the phone is answered. It is hard enough to get to the phone, without having no one there when you answer it. This # has called 3 times in the last two days, and I will not answer my phone again if this # shows on my phone. You don't even identify who is calling, just UNKNOWN NAME, SO GIVE UP.

They are calling my number all the time, even weekends. I want it to stop
Ursula 2013-10-19 01:02:11 Unknown
wow you must have a lot of stuff to give away, if you gave stuff to them pretty well monthly. I don't see anything wrong with blocking your number if you are using your own phone to do charity work for an organization looking for clothing and household donations. I personally would NOT want MY HOME phone number out there. Lots of good people are willing to give their time to help a worthy organization that doesn't waste money paying for telemarketers to make the calls for them.

www naturalnews.com is a good site for that too

Give to a honest no profit Goodwill/Salvation Army that actually are out there helping every thing they make down to the penny is really making a difference. All the scam places like value village try to market that they give really just as bad as the change bins in stores used to offset the tax. the rest is all profit and they make good because they get there stock for free. even the Canadian Diabetes Association licenses there name out to a for profit. Any organization that spends % more on administration costs and ways to get more money then prevention is a scam. just look at there website. majority is about joining getting your self tested so the big pharma can make more money! Change your diet cut your animal protein down eat more raw veggies and fruits look up david wolf or dr t cambel or vegsource on youtube.
there are big bucks in clothing. wheres the diabetes store?

As was stated in the post. All they have to do is put their name on the phone. I would probably answer the call myself.
We gave to them almost on a Monthly basis when they let you know it was them phoning you.
How stupid can a group get and still stay afloat.
Paullie 2012-10-25 00:09:26 Unknown
They are only looking for used clothes. If you don't want them to call tell them so. They are not looking for money/donations.
KAREN 2012-10-24 00:51:47 Unknown
They call you using this number after they tried using the other number that says OFCP that you didn't answer. Pretty sneaky I say. Now I won't ever answer either because of this.
Bill 2012-07-30 21:10:49 Unknown
You know it's a sad thing that an Association like CDA can't get people with enough education to realize that they should put their name on the phone that they use for harrassing people. I say harrassing because that is what they are doing without puting inentification on their phone.
Come On CDA smarten up and use some common sense. IDENTIFY YOURSELF.
