They call my boyfriends phone which I didn't give the number too at least 5 times a day and they also called y work. I have no idea how they got my information. John from fdr cibc also left detailed messages not regarding my boyfriend.

in 8 hours yesterday i received 72 calls from this number, another 21 calls between 5 and 8pm. didnot know who was clling they didnt leave a msg

Keep getting calls from this company for a person deceased for 5 years....gave them all the info including the death certificate and they still call.

If you look at the posts it will show that some of these people did try to contact them to no avail.

Donna Jones is calling from this number.  Bull****.  I don't have any important business matter that I need to deal with.  Stop calling me.  I don't know you.  I don't have any dealings with you.  Never heard of "Mrs. Jones".  What's wrong with these people???

Some guy with the caller ID for this number "Joshua Keller" called and left a different 866 number to call. I can honestly say we owe nothing, am just waiting to see what story they pull out their butts.

I have been getting calls from Financial Debt Recovery and they keep telling  me I owe money from an old electricity company. They have my main address but not my apartment number. If they were supposed to be getting after me for an unpaid bill...why should I have to give them my personal info? Wouldn't they have it on file if the electricity company wanted them to go after me? Hmmmm...is this a true collection agency or someone just trying to get money? They gave me a number to call last week and when I called it...it said this number is not in service. Help me please....

These people are scam agents.  this is what happened to. People.  at some point to time you opened a Visa.  You told Visa to cancel the card.  Now, this was probably three or even five years ago.  Visa Did not in fact close your Visa AS YOU INSTRUCTED them to do so, they SUSPENDED  the account.  You accounting records show no money owing, but Visa is still claiming that you owe some yearly credit card fee....This alone is pure FRAUD.

FDR is now probably agent number 3 or 5 to try to claim this fraudulent amount. Ask FDR for 1) The original contract you signed with FDR -BOTH SIDES do the document. 2) FDR needs to show you through their accounting records the source of the MONEY they are claiming you owe THEM. And 3) FDR needs to show you through their accounting records their corporate loss.  Remember VISA that you had an original contract with that was closed has, if this amount is considered outstanding has already written this debt off as I collectible.  ......and FDR is trying to claim this a second, or even a forth time (what did the last scam Agency do with this "uncollectable"

FDR is trying to intimidate you and get you to call them to re-contract with them so you. Just agree to pay them $$$$$ for NOTHING......As I said before FRAUD.

..and their automated message...notice how it blocks your telephone line...speak to the message tand tell them you know they are fraud and that you'll contact the police....CLICK right in the middle of the "905....." Number part of the message.

in my research, FRD's scam has apparently been going on for at least a decade...SHAME on you FDR.

Your comment is completely Not true.  You are absolutely lying. I have contacted FDR and asked them through Registered Mail for their supporting Legal documents, and accounting records to their claim.  To this day (eight months later) they have not replied....know why, they have No legal claim agaist you.  They are trying to get away with FRAUD.

For all you victims, this company needs to provide you with the following documentation: 1- a copy of the Original contract you signed with them 2 - accounting records to show you where the money in question came from THEIR Corporate Bank Account. And Lastly they have to show through their accounting records how they have encurred.  Know what, they haven't been able to give me ONE piece of documentation.  know why? because their claim is total FRAUD, and other than buying some obscure claim (on commission -after receipt of your scammed money) THEY HAVE NO CLAIM.

Listen....if your name is "John", you owe me some money.  I have no contract with you , have not lost any money ....other than a phone call, and I have NO supporting Legal or Accounting Record to support my claim.  

....Just pay me or I will ANNOY and PESTER you for all eternity.

My phone number and names are not in the 411 or local phone book ad it in my name so I don't understand how they got it as I've only had this number for 2 months I've asked them to stop calling but they threaten to call again and hang up on me

I've just changed my number but I there a way to get them to stop calling?

Automated number for a scam company, never a real person.
Never give out personal details over the phone ....ever, crooks will steal your identity.
If they continue, suggest you report them to the police.  Probably organized crime hiding their intentions under a false company name.

This company called our place of business looking for a person who has not been here for three years.  They used the lines that someone told them the person was here.
they stated they were calling about a credit legal matter and did not have a home number.  WRong, they did not even have the correct last name!!!!

I forwarded my line to the Ontario Ministry of Government Services, Consumer Protection Branch, Investigations Unit and also filed an online complaint.  I haven't heard from them since.

They also call from 1-855-771-6017.

I get an automated message from this company.... 8-10 times per day.  When I call back, they will not tell me who it is for, not me they say.  I have left numerous messages & e-mails with them to let them know this is a place of business and if it's not  me they're looking for, then they have the wrong number.  Tell me how this is "legitimate".
