Platinum Protection. Called today to inform me that there are door to door sales people using strong arm tactics to sell alarm systems. Gee... sounds like them. I wish i had never signed up with them.

Company name is "Platinum Protection", a door-to-door home security sales SCAM  from Provo, Utah area which sends salesmen/installer teams out to various cities all over the nation during the summer. They do not even have a license to do business in some states.  BBB has ordered them to cease and desist.  Consumer Reports magazine cautions to never do business with DTD's.  Plenty of other complaints found on Google.

It's platinum protection. Theyre a real alarm company. Albeit questionable business practices imo.

Called me claiming to be the provider of my home security system. When I said no he then proceeded to claim I was the emergency contact on a family member?s contract and that they needed to get in touch with them ASAP. He knew family member names as well as mine.
