I have been getting this number a lot. What makes it worse, is I do live in that area code zone, so I think it may be someone I know. It is offering to lower utility bills

Did you stay at Yosemite or Reno, NV in July 2012? I started getting telemarketing calls after completing a phone survey for a Reno, NV hotel I stayed in. The telemarketing calls got worse after I received automated calls from Yosemite regarding the hantavirus outbreak during my stay. Was my phone number sold by the hotel's survey contractor or Yosemite (actually Deleware North Companies)?? Did this happen to you too?? Solution: Never take a phone survey. Never answer a number you don't recognize.

I started getting these annoying calls a couple of months ago. I've gone thru their automated prompts to be taken off their calling lists, and yet THEY KEEP CALLING ME!!! I've had my number registered in the national Do No Call list since September 2008. WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE CALLING ME?!?!?!? I get calls from various different area codes, all from NJ & WA. Today I finally spoke to someone that asked for my JCP&L account number. When I said I didn't want to get any more of their calls the woman hung up on me!!! SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Go to the national do not call registry and file a complaint (assuming you registered your phone number already and are on the donotcall list):

They've been calling up to 4 times a day, so I finally answered, ready to say, "what the f*%# is so important", and there was no one there! Not even a computer voice. How are all of these numbers getting by the 'do not call' list? I've gotten calls from 209, 218, 425, 630, and 849 area codes, too. Very annoying when you're home all day with chronic pain and fatigue...

I got hung up on the first time I FINALLY answered after weeks of phone calls. They called again in 5 mins - asked for THEIR name said I am writing it down and then told them to take my number off. Lets see if it works

I have received about 3-4 calls from here on two different days. Its really upsetting because I have ptsd and answering numbers I don't know or just seeing them really bothers me and creates anxiety so I constantly make sure I am not on do not call lists. I am also getting the same male voice when I call back telling me to leave my number to be put on a do not call list :( this is really stressing me out.
