So the person calling say Hi, Mrs.XXX and I reply Yes and then they hang up. Now really. This apparently is a lot a fun for them. They get to annoy people as they sit on their butts getting fatter while we run to the phone and get exercise. Not a bad deal. Really now.

It means the scammers have rigged it where another number, not their own, shows up on the caller ID.

This number keeps calling and hanging up. I call back and they say "someone is spoofing my number, sorry for the inconvenience". Whatever that mean!?!
